The Hope Street Centre provides a range of services to the local community including employment support, computer training, advice sessions, volunteering and volunteer training opportunities, work experience and training placements for adults with learning disabilities and other community led activities based on the needs of the community.

Maintaining a building at 101 Rede Court Road Strood for pubic worship and other activities.Employing a pastor to lead public worship and provide pastoral care.Providing opportunity for public worship at two services each Sunday and for Bible study and prayer on Tuesday.Providing meetings for men, women, young people and children to learn of biblical Christianity.Supporting other charities

We offer free 1:1 specialist trauma counselling to people affected by any crime in Kent and Medway. Our main office is in Maidstone. We have satellite offices in Medway, Ashford, Tonbridge.We run a Helpline for people who are unable to access our offices. Professionals may also use this Helpline if they wish.

The PCC is responsible for working with the incumbent in promoting the mission of the church in the parish of Cliffe with Cooling. This involves pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical aspects, as well as maintenance and management of St Helen's Church and churchyard and St Helen's House, The Buttway, Cliffe.

To provide financial assistance towards education/training for young people aged between 14 and 20 years inclusive, who live in the Medway Council area,where they or their parents lack the necessary financial resources.

Living Lively works to improving the health, well-being and quality of life of people over 50 through participation in community singing. Living Lively was created following a Department of Health research project into the health benefits of singing and currently runs 16 singing groups with over 600 people attending each week.

Provision of English as a Second Language classes for adults; running a Bulgarian school for children providing education in Bulgarian Language and History. Running dance classes for adults and children. Organising the celebration of national holidays. Presentations at local schools on Bulgarian culture. Supporting the local Bulgarian Orthodox Church.

Relationship counselling, family counselling and psychosexual therapy for the adult couple or individuals. Young person counselling for those experiencing divorce or separation of parents.Work in partnership with other agencies to provide our services to wider community.

Provides a community centre for recreation, education, sports, social and spiritual activities for use by groups and the local population.

We provide a hall for hire to the local area. This is open to uniform groups, charities, church, preschool and any groups for the community as well as private functions

As a Masonic Lodge we collect via members and visitors donations from a variety of ways (raffles,alms,box and envelopes) which we then donate to charitable causes either masonic charities and non masonic charities.The masonic hall is let to various masonic groups as well as non masonic groups

THE PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES OF FIVE GRACE CHURCH, AS SET IN OUR CONSTITUTION, IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.

We offer free Conductive Education for children with Cerebral Palsy and associated motor disorders. We take children from birth up to the age of five from Tuesdays to Fridays, and from five to sixteen on Saturdays. A summer and winter club is also provided out of term time. We operate throughout Kent. Currently we have 53 children.

St. Francis, Strood has the responsibility of cooperating with the incumbent to promote the entire mission of the church in the ecclesiastical parish. This mission encompasses pastoral care, evangelistic outreach, and various social and community activities.

Under the Statutory Instrument of 1983 and Scheme Amendment of 1996, the provision of well maintained almshouse accommodation for the relief of needy or disabled persons who have served in the; Royal Navy, Royal Marines, WRNS QARNNS, Royal Fleet Auxiliary, Merchant Navy, Army, Royal Air Force or has been employed in HM Dockyards on the construction, maintenance, refitting or repair of HM Ships.

Promotion of Kent Cricket Heritage

Medway Little Theatre provides an opportunity for members to participate in theatrical performances both on stage and behind the scenes. We also run two groups where younger members can learn and gain experience and confidence. We provide affordable and sometimes challenging theatre for the people of Medway and beyond, as well as making the building available for hire to other local groups.

Preservation and restoration of the Paddle Steamer Kingswear Castle to enable as wide a selection of the public as possible to gain experience of sailing in paddle steamers and exploring them, Maintenance of artefacts and documents relating to the Paddle Steamer Kingswear Castle and other paddle steamers.

(a) to advance the Christian faith and the planting of other Vineyard churches;(b) to further Christian education;(c) to relieve sickness and financial hardship and to promote and preservegood health;(d) to provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of socialwelfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals whohave need of such facilities.
