Preservation and restoration of the historic Dunkirk veteran paddle steamer 'Medway Queen'. The hull was rebuilt with help from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the vessel returned 'home' in December 2013 to begin the next phase of restoration. The workshop and visitor centre are at Gillingham, Kent. Most expenditure appears as an investment in the value of 'heritage asset under construction'.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for the playing of tennis in a club environment.

We are an independent evangelical community church, providing the opportunity for all to worship God, and to serve some of the many and diverse needs of the community of Staplehurst and also be involved in the wider mission of the church overseas. We strive to monitor the needs of the community matching them to our resources, identifying opportunities for offering God's love to those in need.

EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE CURRICULM

We are a Anglican Church which provides regular public worship that is open to all. Our Pastoral work includes visiting the sick and the bereaved. We teach teach Christianity through sermons, comfirmation courses and small groups. We have a close connection with the local schools aand occasionly take assemblies. We support various charities with their work in the uk and overseas.

For the the relief and assistance of the homeless and people in crisis throughout Medway and surrounding areas. Second Chance aims to stop the revolving door of evictions for vulnerable families, providing services which include awareness, education, incentives and support for landlords; financial education and varied support programs towards independent living in the Community.

The PCC is charged with caring for the worship of God, for one another, for the neighbourhood, for mission and outreach. It must exercise responsible stewardship for its property, finance and church activities. Our Mission Statement is - To know Jesus and to make Him known.

We run a weekly drop in for senior citizens. We hold an annual young Black achievers awards. We develop and deliver projects that promote diversity and celebrate heritage and culture. We work with partners across statutory, voluntary, private sectors to achieve our objectives. We work with young people with regards to culture, arts and education.

We are currently increasing capacity to offer support to an increase in voluntary after-school clubs, as schools reach for new targets for 2010.

For the public benefit in South East England, the relief of those in need by reason of physical and/or mental ill health, disability or age, including people with neurodegenerative conditions such as dementia and Parkinson's, and their carers through providing specifically designed, group therapeutic music sessions and associated activities led by experienced therapeutic arts practitioners.

The provision of a youth group with Christian ethos.Promotion of Christianity through the staging of events and meetings.

provision of indoor skatepark facilities

The Centre offers activities to the families of Borstal, Rochester and surrounding areas. We provide a pre-school for children aged two to four and support parents with education and health issues. There is also an information centre, computer suite and internet access.

The Hope Street Centre provides a range of services to the local community including employment support, computer training, advice sessions, volunteering and volunteer training opportunities, work experience and training placements for adults with learning disabilities and other community led activities based on the needs of the community.

The advancement of religion among persons employed in industry, commerce and the service sector by the provision of workplace chaplains.

We offer free 1:1 specialist trauma counselling to people affected by any crime in Kent and Medway. Our main office is in Maidstone. We have satellite offices in Medway, Ashford, Tonbridge.We run a Helpline for people who are unable to access our offices. Professionals may also use this Helpline if they wish.
