Kent Cancer Trust aims to relieve the suffering of cancer patients and improve the provision of cancer care within Kent, particularly but not exclusively by developing and training medical staff, by promoting research into cancer leading to the development of new treatments and diagnostic aids and by educating the public in the cause and treatment of the disease.

The Trustees shall hold and apply the Trust Fund and all monies received whether from donations bequests deeds of covenant or from any other source upon trust to apply both the capital and income thereof to or for the relief of the poor and needy or such other charitable purposes as the club shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

FUNDRAISING FOR BENEFIT OF SCHOOL

Medway Asthma Self-Help (MASH) is committed to making information about asthma available to all people in Medway. It also provides access to professional help for people with asthma, and their carers, in Medway. It works closely with local health providers and other community organisations.

Providing a telephone help line for those diagnosed with or suffering from prostate cancer, their families and friends, holding monthly open meetings for such people at which health and other relevant professionals give talks on this cancer, its treatment and impact, followed by opportunities for discussion with new and existing members; raising money for new medical equipment for Kent hospitals.

Supporting home school families in Christian education

We run the community centre allowing many organisations to use the facilities. Users are whist, dance, dog training, judo,Slimming World,mucky play for children, get together club for seniors. The hall is also used for childrens parties at weekends. The centre is used as a polling station when required.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public appreciation of and education in the art and science of music.

Raises funds, primarily from corporate bodies, for distribution by grants and loans to community schemes and the running of youth inclusion programmes in Kent and Medway, which seek to reduce or prevent crime and anti-social behaviour.

Loop Dance Company's founding vision is to 'loop' together contemporary dance training, performance, participation and appreciation. Current activities include Loop's touring programme and the LoopEd outreach programme; Dance & disability, Dance & Curriculum projects in schools and Dance & Health projects for the community as well as the Dance Artist Support Programme for recent dance graduates.

THE AIM OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION IS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE.BY PROVIDING A BALANCED PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES THAT PROVIDE FUN, LEARNING AND SUPPORTING THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. WE SEEK TO ACHIEVE THIS BY USING THE BALANCED TRAINING PROGRAMME SCHEME.

The aim of the Medway Hindu Mandir is to promote Santana Dharma (Hinduism). To teach and remind values of Hindu religious & Indian culture, regardless of caste, creed, colour, sex, disability, nationality and be open for all to come together - all inter faiths welcome. Serving the local Medway community and nearby NHS staff and nurses with food and any other amenities feasible.

Local scout group providing a balanced programme of activities that provide fun, learning and supporting the local community and local environment

To provide activities and training for young people from the age of 6 years to 25 years of age.

To provide Scouting Activities to enable Young People in the Group to become better members of their local, national and international community.
