LOCAL GROUP WORKING WITH FAMILIES IN BROAD GREEN, CROYDON. TUESDAY DROP-IN 11AM TO 2PM CLASSES IN ICT, YOGA, DRESS MAKING, KNITTING, MENDHI AND OTHER CRAFTS, ENGLISH AND LITERACY SKILLS AS MANY MEMBERS DO NOT HAVE ENGLISH AS THEIR FIRST LANGUAGE, VISITS TO SEA-SIDE, MUSEUMS AND SEASONAL CELEBRATIONS. SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES WITH EXTRA CLASSES.

Originally the fund provided grants for individuals in Merton with a connection to war-time services. The activity has been extended by a scheme to include dependants and descendants.

The charity has been organising the followinf activities;1. Playschemes during the summer and winter holiday breaks for children between the ages of 5 and 12. which provide opportunity to stay close to their culture 2. Language school for for mother tougne languages.3. Celebration of annual Homowo-Asafotufiam-Nmaayem festival of the GaDangme people of Ghana

To provide or assist with the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure activities for children and young people of Lambeth, Merton & Southwark

Provide a range of activities and social functions which enhance social welfare and ccommunity interest and maintain a community centre which provides the opportunity for recreation, sport and a variety of community activities.

The LWS Foundation advances education for the public benefit by providing support and to enhance the provisions and facilities at Liberty Woodland School (LWS), providing bursaries for pupils and providing continuous professional development of LWS staff alongside providing training and development for external teachers.

Protection of the remains of Merton Priory and establishing a visitor and information centre on the site of the Chapter House

Advancing musical education at Dundonald Primary School, providing experience of musical ensemble and the opportunity to perform in concerts.

The charity is working on retaining ownership of the coronary angioplasty simulator. The training courses are being prepared for the angioplasty trainees. Our new website will be launched in November 2014 with expanded medical content, news, blog and our projects. A trustees meeting will take place on the 21st October in London to discuss bench testing project and future directions.

The Charity assists the children and young people of the London Borough of Merton by promoting their health, advancing their education and supporting those in need.

For the purpose of Allotment Gardens and that the land should not be used for any other purpose than as allotment gardens for working men.

Promote sport and fitness activities to encourage community participation in healthy recreation in Dundonald Recreation Ground. Encourage involvement of local school children in tennis programmes both during school time and after school hours on weekdays and at weekends. Encourage involvement of individuals of all ages and abilities to develop and extend their tennis skills.

Religious and social activities. We hold our actvities at the Wimbledon Community Centre, Haydons Road, Wimbledon on a monthly basis. Most of our members belong to the ethnic minorities and are in the main senior citizens

We run six units, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, from our Scout Hut in Mitcham. The children attend weekly meetings where they work towards badges which help to make them aware of their environment and to care for others. Camping and fund-raising are among the many activities in which the children are involved.

Anima Una organise drama classes and drama performance for children and young people in Merton at the minimum cost to sustain enable a diverse group of children and young people to experience theatre without access to significant private financial resources.One aim of Anima Una is to provide and maintain an equipped theatrical space within the foundations of the Chapter House of Merton Priory.

Long-term and persistent support to help young people achieve their potential irrespective of their behaviour, attitude or circumstances.Working to resolve the educational and/or skills deficiencies resulting from interruption/disruption to their academic progress.Raising the aspirations of young people and provides skills that empower and services that the young people need to achieve.

The charity will promote, support and facilitate the continued creative development of the principles of Outreach and Partnership (O&P) education programmes between state and independent schools.Partnerships involve independent and state schools working together based on collaboration and cooperation to provide education and development opportunities to all pupils and staff involved.

We provide both medical and holistic care services to refugees and vulnerable migrants. Our medical services include triage & referral, chronic disease management and mother and baby support. We also offer psychosocial support in the form of clubs and schemes/workshops. Working in 17 refugee camps across Greece.
