Mainly fund raising for education

The Friends of Tees Valley Youth Orchestra advance the education of the public by supporting and assisting the activities of the Tees Valley Youth Orchestra, a youth orchestra forming part of the Tees Valley Music Service.

The preservation of the historical, architectural, artistic, archaeological, constructional and environmental heritage of the Tees Valley area in the form of buildings, land, artefacts, or other objects (including any building as described in Section 290(1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1971), of particular beauty or interest.

Application of the income of the charity for the benefit of the poor and needy or such other charitable institutions or other purposes as the members of the Rotary Club of Stockton-on-Tees shall from time to time determine.

To advance the education of the public in the science of astronomy and allied sciences by the provision of a Planetarium and Observatory in Stockton on Tees

1. The care and rehabilitation of injured, orphaned and abandoned hedgehogs.2. To advance the education of the public in the study of hedgehogs and in the care, methods of treatment, conservation and habitat of hedgehogs.

To apply its income for the relief of need amongst clergy who are resident in the Diocese of York or who have served in the Diocese of York for at least 10 years.

We operate in Middlesbrough.we run a social club for people with a learning disability from ages 16 upwards..

OUR CURRENT ACTIVITIES INCLUDE PERFORMING SHOWS/PANTOMIMES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.

Payment of grants to retired priests and deacons

1) advance the Christian Faith 2) relieve poverty, sickness and distress of women and their families, particularly, but not exclusively those who are homelessness, unemployed or have suffered bereavement, by the provision of financial or other assistance; 3) advance education for the benefit of the public, on the basis of Christian principles.

Our core activities are teaching Bengali Language to 5yr Olds to 20yrs youths up to GCSE. We also provide Arts, Drama, tennis and Badminton,martial Arts along with educational and recreations trips to the youths and their family, ESOL and exercise classes for the parents. Annually and throughout the year we hold cultural programmes to celebrate important days for the Bangladeshi community.

The Association aims to relieve suffering & distress amongst persons affected by accident or natural hazards within the North East of England or any other place if requested. The Association aims to further relations between member teams & member teams & other interested parties; represent member bodies on the Mountain Rescue (England & Wales); & maintain & improve standards of member teams.

The Society, which was formed in 1968, takes an active part in preserving our heritage. We promote various projects in local history and offer advice. We maintain links with local archives, libraries, museums and groups connected with archaeology, family history and industrial archaeology. Lectures and guided walks are held throughout the year.

We provide education from Breckon Hill Community Centre in Middlesbrough.

Music concerts

The focus of the charities activities remains maintaining a presence in Middlesbrough town centre, mainly on weekend evenings, to give practical help and support to those who need it.

We are raising funds in order to build and maintain an athletics facility in Sedgefield, Co-Durham.The facility will be suitable for disabled use and its aim is to support the aspirations of athletes and be available those wanting to try sports and train.
