Fundraising as PTA

We provide education and training in the techniques of family history research. We encourage the conservation of documents and structures, which record details of social and family history. We sponsor and provide volunteers to undertake research into such documents and thereby act as an umbrella or resource body.

The Charity holds fund raising activities to raise funds to purchase equipment and contribute to Usk Church in Wales Primary School resource requirements.

Provides an attractive venue for Community Council Meetings, Village Hall Committee Meetings, Llanhennock Ladies Meetings, Yoga Classes, Art Club, and for private parties. Also used for occasional entertainment, social evenings, and church events

We help people with Downs Syndrome and their families. We run informative events, provide support, advice and social activities, promoting awareness of Downs in Cardiff and SE Wales. Over 140 families have free membership and members with Downs help lead the group. We are financed solely from donations and fundraising.

We hold fund-raising events in the Monmouth area and ask for public subscription to our funds. We send these funds to projects in Africa as identified by local communities in liaison with Action Aid. The development work is carried out by the international charity Action Aid which we have selected to act as our agent in the field.

The Trust was set up, with the aim of supporting the education (including social and physical training) of young people under the age of 25, who are or have been resident in the catchment area of the former Catbrook School, using the proceeds from the sale of the school. The trustees manage the funds through regular meetings and consultation, under a Charter, investing funds and awarding grants.

Provides a place of Christian worship, Biblical teaching & practical and pastoral support.Meetings for christian worship, spiritual encouragement and Biblical Teaching Provides children and youth clubs ,and counselling Provides community social activity, coffee mornings, fun day event etc.The Church carries out a wide range of public activities community social and coffee mornings

Itton Village Hall is a Grade-II listed building comprising Main Hall, Small Hall, well-equipped kitchen plus car parking facilities. Used for community events, meetings, variety of classes, drama & musical performances, wedding and celebratory functions, parish lunches. Bookings welcomed from local residents, charities, voluntary groups and others.

We are currently attending boot sales with donations of bric-a-brac to sell to raise money for our charity.We are attending local family day events to raise awareness.

To provide the community with facilities in which to hold public meetings, events, past-times, social gatherings, educational programmes etc.

Donations to local charities of monies raised from a number of events organised locally, including Chepstow Fireworks display, Summer Ball, Santa Sleigh & Xmas lights.

Providing Educational Support for children in Penallt Parish under twenty one years of age.Grants provide assistance for clothing tools instruments books to assist in the pursuit of education (includingstudy of music and arts),educational travel and other activities in the further pursuit of education.

The charity maintains & lets the village hall to individuals (childrens party) organisations (WI, Gilwern Senior Citizens). The hall is vibrant and active social centre for the village of Gilwern.

PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR DISABLED PERSONS TO WORSHIP AND TO MEET WITH OTHERS FOR SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND FELLOWSHIP.

WE HAVE MONTHLY MEETINGS WITH GUEST SPEAKERS, IN ORDER TO EDUCATE & ENTERTAIN OUR MEMBERS. WE ALSO SUPPORT ONE OR TWO LOCAL CHARITIES BY RAISING FUNDS BY SOCIAL EVENTS. OUR UMBRELLA H.Q. LOBBIES GOVERNMENT ON VARIES ISSUES OF INTEREST TO OUR MEMBERS.

Makes grants to support the rowing and sculling activities of young people.

The charity is affiliated to the third age trust and provides facilities for: 1. Special interest groups to meet regularly in furtherance of their interest. 2. Visiting speakers on subjects of general interest and 3. Any connected social activities arising.

A Museum that is open to the public from April to October during the afternoons and at weekends, giving a detailed history of Monmouth Castle and the Royal Monmouthshire Engineers (Militia) Regiment.
