Panache Steel Band is based in Thornbury, South Gloucestershire. Panache started in 1994 at The Castle School, Thornbury, and has since become community based. As well as the main performing band, who performs both publically and privately, we run a variety of community-based steel band groups for different ages, as well as one-off workshops at local schools and other organisations.

The charity raises money to provide additional resources to the school and its pupils.

Letting of hall for community use

A village hall providing premises for the use of local clubs and other organisations and by residents of The Narth and District and the surrounding area. The committee also organises events and activities to raise funds for the upkeep of the hall.

The hall is a community facility, offering a low rate venue for residents use. We are able to cater for both the able and less able, as we have disabled ramps and toilet facilities.

By grants to people and organisations living within a 10 mile radius of Monmouth Town. Grants for general charitable purposes, education, disability, relief of poverty.

Operate a premises where: matters of faith are explored through literature, group and individual discussions; comfort and a listening ear can be offered in times of need; christian resources are provided for local events; Fairtrade is actively supported; venue is offered to support local activities

Regional Bowls League and Competitions and also compete in Internationals and Home Nations Tournaments, fundraising activities to support players attending International and Home Nations Tournaments.

Village Hall for use by members of the local community.

Providing the community with use of the village hall and amenities for recreational and sporting activities.

VILLAGE HALL FOR USE OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the Goytre Scout Group gives the young people of Penperlleni village and the surrounding area the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Chepstow and Caldicot Lions Clubs activities are exclusively charitable and include fundraising and supporting community projects specifically for young people, the elderly, children with cancer, the environment and those in need generally. The Club works with other organisations and voluntary bodies to achieve these aims and to promote volunteering and community benefit.

Venue for a range of village activities as well as being a provider of music, dancing and public entertainment of a similar kind.

Provision of a local centre for organisation and holding of community activities.

An amateur choir which performs and promotes live concerts, mostly in Gloucestershire, for the purposes of enriching local culture and encouraging participation in music making

To provide tuition to young people (and older) in the creative art of playing brass instruments, to promote the brass band to an increasingly wider audience. To support other charitable organisations through music.

To fundraise for Cross Ash Primary School in order to provide equipment and services either not provided by the LEA or outside the scope of the LEA's provision.

Varied activities with young people as a group within the scout movement

To provide the community with facilities in which to hold public meetings, events, past-times, social gatherings, educational programmes etc.

i) To advance the education of the public and in particular the education of older people no longer in full-time gainful employment in Ross-On-Wye and its surrounding locality.ii) The provision of facilities for leisure time and recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the above persons in the interests of their social welfare.

To advance the education of the pupils of Monmouth Prep School by engaging in fundraising activities or providing experiences or equipment in order to: enrich the lives of pupils; build the community of parents, carers, staff and students; build relations with the local community and benefit relevant charities.

To protect and preserve native hedgehogs by providing appropriate care, treatment and temporary shelter to hedgehogs in need. To provide a telephone helpline to advance education and support the general public/vets around the conservation and welfare of hedgehogs and their habitats. To promote environmental protection by supporting conservation and education. Providing volunteering and training.

MANAGEMENT OF THE COMMERCIAL PROPERTY AND CASH RESERVES OF THE TRUST TO GENERATE INCOME FOR DISTRIBUTION AS FINANCIAL AWARDS TO QUALIFYING STUDENTS AS SET OUT IN THE CHARITY'S OBJECTIVES. ADVERTISING THE AVAILABILITY OF AWARDS, INTERVIEWING APPLICANTS AND MAKING AWARDS HAVING REGARD TO THE GUIDANCE ISSUED BY THE CHARITY COMMISSION ON PUBLIC BENEFIT.

To financially assit students from King Henry VII School, Abergavenny who are going into further education.
