The foodbank seeks to offset poverty in Monmouth & District by providing food to individuals and families in food crisis. The foodbank also seeks to support other organisations working with the disadvantaged. The work is based on the Christian values of compassion, integrity and commitment. In our Financial Year 1st April 18 to 31st March 19 a total of 564 (362 adults and 202 children) were fed.

MANAGEMENT OF THE COMMERCIAL PROPERTY AND CASH RESERVES OF THE TRUST TO GENERATE INCOME FOR DISTRIBUTION AS FINANCIAL AWARDS TO QUALIFYING STUDENTS AS SET OUT IN THE CHARITY'S OBJECTIVES. Running and maintaining a Community Centre to provide leisure and learning facilities. The Centre is owned by Monmouthshire County Council and leased to the Charity.

Brecknock Sinfonia Trust presents concerts of orchestral and chamber music in Brecon Cathedral and surrounding areas, providing opportunities for local musicians, particularly young musicians, to play at a high standard. The object of the Society shall be for the benefit of the public to promote and improve agriculture.Hold an Annual Ploughing Match together with Sheep Dog Trials & Produce Tent to further rural activities in the countryside.

1st Magor Scouts exist to develop the skills and abilities of young people in the Magor area of South Monmouthshire. The scout troop provides practical training and activities to develop the mental and physical capacity of the young people. Activities under taken in the last year have included climbing, camping, sailing, swimming and cooking.

Promotes self-confidence, sense of responsibility, self-discipline, self-reliance and teamwork skills through sport and education based on Royal Naval traditions.

The Society aims to present first-class performances of a wide variety of choral music, working with first rate soloists and orchestras, to educate the public in the arts and sciences of choral music and to enhance the arts culture of the town. By rehearsing great choral works, the society promotes well-being and social cohesion among its members and the audiences.

The Charity is a Parents Teachers Association supporting the Dell Primary School in Chepstow

Our aim is to conserve and enhance the landscape by enabling members to maintain, manage and restore their semi-natural grasslands and associated features.

THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY REMAINS THE SAME AND THE METHOD OF AWARDING EDUCATIONAL GRANTS REMAINS THE SAME. THE TRUSTEES AIM IS TO ENSURE INCOME RECEIVED IS FULLY ALLOCATED TO EXPENDITURE EACH YEAR TO APPLICANTS UNDER 25 YEARS OF AGE TOWARDS EDUCATIONAL NEEDS.

To develop the capacity and skills of members of BME Over 50s of social disadvantage community of Newport and District in such a way that they are better able to identify and help to meet their needs: In Creative Writing, Performing Art, Story-telling, Choir singing, Handcraft, Walking, Swimming, Healthy eating, Exercise, enabling them to participate more fully in society.

The main purpose of Shirenewton Primary Parent Teacher Association is to raise funds for the benefit of the students of the school by organising events that can be enjoyed by the children, family, friends and staff of the school.

- Raising awareness of issues and challenges faced by the autistic individuals and their families from the various ethnic communities in the UK.- Providing resources through discussions and sharing information around the barriers that ethnically diverse autistic communities face.- signposting, working with organisations to work around/ease these barriers for the families & their community.

We teach skills for life to young people in and around Pontnewydd in Cwmbran, Torfaen.These skills are taught via outdoor & adventurous activities such as camping, hiking etc.

Rehearsal and performance of symphonic and chamber music.

By means of local fund-raising events, the charity provides grants to individuals and local, national and international charities as well as providing support to local organisations.

MCS FA aims to bring together all who care about helping to resource the school environment to enhance pupils' learning and social development. It welcomes parents and carers, staff and others drawn from across the community and links home and school thereby also supporting parents.
