SOS Children's Villages UK is part of a global federation founded in 1949. Working in over 130 countries, the SOS Children's Villages federation is the world's largest non-governmental group focused on supporting children and young people who don't have, or at risk of losing, parental care. SOS Children's Villages UK supports children in over 100 of these today.

The charity owns offices to accommodate the International Coordinating Team (ICT) of Operation Mobilisation(OM) An international partnership operating in over 110 countries. The ICT co-ordinates decision making throughout the OM world, and supplies services and resources vital to the functioning of OM internationally.

Chain of Hope provides medical treatment for children and young persons overseas. Supporting the common life of the churches of the Anglican Communion by resourcing its Instruments of Communion (the Anglican Consultative Council , the Primates Meeting and the Lambeth Conference) to develop agreed Anglican policies in the world mission of the Church and to encourage and guide Anglican participation in ecumenical dialogue and inter faith work at international level

Provides personnel, prayer and resources for mission activity amongst Africans in Africa and in Europe.

The charity supports, amongst others: (a) the advancement of education, in particular through projects in Africa and by funding research, and (b) the conservation and preservation of the environment, biological diversity and the sustainable use of natural resources, in particular by funding highly scalable, science based, research initiatives to help in containing and adapting to Climate Change.
