Friends of Ysgol Bryn Castell aim to advance the education of the pupils at YBC by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities (not required to be provided by the LEA) for education.Ysgol Bryn Castell is a 7-19 Special School for children and young people with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties, including a specialist provision for children with Autism at the school.

Morgannwg Endeavours Charitable Trust is a South Wales trust devoted to the Health and Wellbeing of renal patients/family and carers in the local area. Our aim is to provide and assistance in the provision of facilities, support services and equipment not normally provided by the statutory authorities.

The Charity provides community facilities for the inhabitants of Pontrhydyfen and surrounding area, in the form of a recreation Ground, a Bowling Green and a Community Centre. The Charity also owns another building which houses an Industrial and Provident Society known as the Blue Scar Club.

The Pontardawe Sports and Community Recreation Association was formed to undertake the day to day management and maintenance of the Pontardawe Recreation Ground. This includes ensuring the member clubs of the Association have continued access to sporting facilities at the site but also aims to ensure the 'Rec' can continue to be enjoyed by the community whilst broadening its use to other users.

Offers financial assistance to churches in the Dioceses of Llandaff and Monmouth for the maintenance and improvement of bell installations

Jersey Park is located in Briton Ferry, Neath Port Talbot. We promote the park as a public open space for the benefit of the community, involving residents in improving the physical and natural environment. Promoting a sense of community through organised events, and promoting health and wellbeing through healthy open air activities. Obtaining funds through grants and fundraising activities.

Music & Arts Festival

To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Briton Ferry and surrounding areas the provision of facilities for education, recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare.

FUNDRAISING VIA SCHOOL PUPILS, I.E. FETES, SHOPPING TRIP, SPONSORED WALK, SALES OF PRINTED ITEMS TO PUPILS

Organize Harp courses and Harp Festivals in Wales to promote the harp and maintain high standards of playing.

We provide coaching at all levels from juniors to seniors in the following fields of sport:- bowls, cricket, soccer & rugby union and also provide the changing facilities as a resource for the above sports. We also combine as an association to gather whatever assistance and resource we can to enable the town of Briton Ferry maintain all its sporting links within the area.

To promote road safety awareness in affiliation with the Institute of Advanced Motorists.To train and encourage motorcyclists in advanced riding techniques and safe riding

To grant monies to assist ordained ministers of religion to enable them to have a holiday.

The PTA engages in activities which provides financial support to the school and enables it to advance the education and welfare of the pupils attending the school.

The object of the CIO is the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Ystradgynlais and the surrounding areas through the provision of facilities for the playing of pickleball

The Trustees shall apply the income of the Charity for such charitable purposes for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Port Talbot area (Defined as the former Borough of Port Talbot prior to the 1st April 1996) for:a. The charity provides financial support for children and young people and their families who ares suffering from terminal illnesses and need additional support which cannot be provided by the state.

Supporting young people by funding attendance at courses/activities which will benefit their possible future careers or to develop their skills in particular activities, expeditions and challenges.
