The band provides music and entertainment within the locality. Organisations serviced include local care homes, nursing homes, local charity events, fates and parent teacher associations. The band also perform at church concerts, Christmas carol services and British legion armistice day parades. Players in the band give of their free time to teach and encourage young persons to play music.
