The charity holds various fundraising events in order to raise monies for causes in line with its aim of helping disadvantaged communities, specially those affected by natural disaster. We have raised funds through licensed lottery, fashion show, barn dance, dinner and dance and exhibitions.Our first project in Nepal was to build a school in Sundara Devi which has been completed in Sep 2018.

MOSAIC is committed to protecting human rights and fighting human trafficking and modern slavery through partnerships, advocacy, and education. By offering support, conducting research, and providing direct services, MOSAIC enables communities to identify trafficking risks and aid survivors. MOSAIC also plans to expand outreach, address trafficking cases, and launch a multilingual website.

Baraka Foundation directs its funds toward essential programs that uplift poverty-stricken communities worldwide. Our initiatives include providing food aid, education support, healthcare services, and development projects. We invest in building schools, funding medical assistance, and creating economic opportunities to empower individuals and families. Every donation creates lasting impact.

InterVol support student volunteering groups at universities in the UK. Our projects work with both local and overseas partners on a range of charitable projects including education and refugee services. Volunteers gain skills and training while small grants are provided to our partners through fund-raising.

We collect used Prosthetic Limbs that can not be reused in this country, they are sorted, stripped and sanitised in readiness to be shipped to disadvantaged countries that have a need for used prostheses and their component parts.

The Club organises various fundraising activities in the local community including a sponsored walk and a street collection. Funds are also raised through quizes and concerts supported by members and friends. Donations by members supported by Gift Aid make up the balance.The three major areas of disbursment of funds are Local and UK charities, Rotary Foundation and other International Charities.

The Piers Simon Appeal runs School in a Bag (SIAB) - an initiative that distributes rucksacks filled with stationery, learning resources and eating utensils to poor, orphan, vulnerable and disaster affected children around the world.SIAB runs many events including Home Farm Fest, a 3 day music festival held at the charity HQ in SomersetThe charity has 4 employees and 2 part time volunteers

The Belacqua Charitable Trust was established to provide grants to organisations concerned with the welfare of children, humanitarian concerns, the arts and the environment. We are interested in supporting applications from individuals or smaller organisations that are concerned with at least one of these. The next application window is from September - December 2027. Cherem is a remote village in the Nepal Himalaya. Da Gombu Sherpa was born here and co founded the project that helps develop education, health and well being in the village. Gombu was a great mountaineer. He died of Cancer in Dec 2011. The Leadership of Cherem village lies now with the Cherem Youth Society that Gombu helped to form before his passing established in kathmandu 2068 B.S. 2011.

As a grant making entity Dharma Gate UK has general objects (to further any purpose which is exclusively charitable under the law of England and Wales).

Building and maintaining a medical rescue post and porter shelter in Machermo and Gokyo in Nepal to improve porter welfare. The earthquake in 2015 caused significant damage and the rebuilding of the porter and rescue shelter is now taking place and hopefully be fully functional again in post-monsoon season in 2016. Large tents were also despatched to porter villages where the needs were greatest.

Coral Care gives aid to the poor and needy children of Nepal. It does this by supporting Nepalese charities such as KASIN (Kids at School in Nepal), KIDASHA ( Child Hope), NHCEP (Nepals Helpless Childrens Education Program, CAN (Child Action Nepal) and CRN Child Rescue Nepal. Coral Care raises funds by selling games like Spectro, Detectorwrist and holding sales. We are based in South Wales.
