We help to create happier, healthier and more cohesive communities. We provide safe spaces where all community members can positively advance their lives, including their physical, mental and social wellbeing.

This is a grant making charity that aim's to distribute approximately one year's income in the course of each financial year to registered charities.

The Main Focus of Walker Central FC is to develop and continue to build on the strong relationships within the community to enable people living in the surrounding areas to become part of a local charitable football club. Our Motto has always been "Keep the kids off the streets" and this is what Walker Central FC is all about. We offer a safe haven for children age 4 up to 16.

Work with young people who have special needs.Street Youth Work.Junior youth Work Baby sitting and other childcare related work.

The charity exists to support the development of all children parents and Inclusion. We support children under school age by attending parent and toddler groups. We have an Inclusion team which delivers support to under school age children. The charity offers a toy loan library. advice, support and information to help all families and settings provide for the needs of their communities.

Brunswick Methodist Church is part of the Methodist Church of Great Britain. Our strap line is 'The Church at the heart of the city'. We are the successors to John Wesley's [founder of the Methodist Church] first purpose built Methodist Church, we work to bring about change in people through a love of Christ, we act with Christian social justice, teaching, preaching and being a place of refuge.

To promote equality and diversity, advance education and eliminate discrimination in relation to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people in particular but not exclusively those residing in and around the North East for the benefit of the public by raising awareness in issues affecting the said persons.

SLAM CDT ALSO OPERATE A COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMME TO PROVIDE HEALTH FITNESS AND EDUCATION TO YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY. SLAM CDT ALSO OPERATE A COMMUNITY TRANSPORT OPERATION

The mission statement of Heaton Baptist Church is: Loving God and Living for Others; Bringing God to people, leading all to maturity in Christ. The Church's vision is to expand and extend its activities to better serve the locality. It is the aim that the local community will see it as a real resource rather than just a place of worship.

Christian Church

The advancement of education of young people through their leisure time activities, so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacity, so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society. Also that their conditions of life may be improved.

Evening group work, centre-based and outdoor; children, young women and men's groups, mixed groups, Slovak and Czech groups and integration work. Detached work; Street based group work and information sharing. Duke of Edinburgh Award. Daily afternoon Drop-ins dealing with employability, debt, credit union, sexual health and 1-2-1 support. School Holiday program, daily activities and residentials.

General Church work led by ministerial team. Lay members involved in running various groups. In 2010 a new structure covering 10 areas of church life were identified. Members encouraged to be involved to enable further development.Cornerstones has been open for eight years and many new activities and links with outside organisations made benefiting all ages in our community.

Opera Company

Legacare provides free legal advice and continued support to vulnerable people affected by life limiting/life threatening illness. We aim to remove stress and anxietyand provide peace of mind by delivering a professional service, sensitively, confidentially and quickly to people who would not be able to access such help because of financial/social constraints/isolation.

The primary objects of the are:1. Promotion of charitable purposes for the benefit of the community generally;2. The relief of poverty in cases of need, hardship or distress; and3. General charitable purposes where the Trustees have discretion as to the charities selected.

Serving local community providing church services and wide ranging activities open to the community including regular playgroup in the church hall as well as hosting occasional concerts in the church and a multitude in between.

The aim of MyBigCareer is to provide free one-to-one careers guidance to young people from the most disadvantaged backgrounds and thereby breakdown barriers to social mobility

Our aim is to raise awareness of visual impairment through training packages. The package product gives a simulation of various eye conditions and the difficulties faced by visual impaired people in their everyday living. We also aim to assist visually impaired people living in the North East of England by awarding grants twice a year.

SMART WORKS IS A UK CHARITY THAT IS FOCUSED ON HELPING OUT-OF-WORK WOMEN ON LOW INCOMES GET INTO or RETURN TO THE WORKFORCE. WE PROVIDE INTERVIEW COACHING, HIGH QUALITY INTERVIEW CLOTHES AND STYLING ADVICE. WE HELP WOMEN TO FEEL CONFIDENT, LOOK FABULOUS, SUCCEED AT THEIR JOB INTERVIEW AND MOVE ON WITH THEIR LIFE.

THE UPKEEP AND MAINTENANCE OF ST ANDREWS CHURCH. THE MAINTENANCE OF SERVICES IN ST ANDREWS CHURCH AND SUBSIDIARY THERE TO:- THE ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGIOUS AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORK OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND IN THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH OF THE CHURCH OF ST ANDREW, NEWGATE STREET, NEWCASTLE.

We run Learning Hubs, Youth Clubs and Summer Schools in less affluent areas of Tyne and Wear to tackle educational inequality. We offer access to the internet, learning resources, a tutor and extra-curricular activities in a safe environment. Our motto is Young People Learning from Each Other. Our peer tutors, befrienders, summer school and club leaders are all trained volunteers.
