SPORTING ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

Our mission is to bring different communities together and create a harmonious and inclusive society. Through our programs and services, we strive to foster social cohesion, break down barriers, and build bridges between communities.

The Vocational Learning Trust has built a vocational learning centre called The Work Place. VOLT is responsible for ensuring the building is used for the aims and objectives of the Trust and also has a remit to raise funds for educational purposes.

Our mission is to give families from the UK affected by the devastating impact of cancer, a much needed break from long hospital stays, traumatic medical procedures and cancer related treatments ? so that they may spend quality time together recuperating and enjoying life as a ?normal? family ? strengthening relationships and creating lasting happy memories.

Main activities include open access youth sessions, outreach, drop in/sexual health support/holiday programme of challenging/leisure activities, family adventure club, children's arts/crafts/fun/play, indoor/outdoor activity sessions, training YP/adults, fun days/events, sessions to improve health/fitness (all ages), older people's lunch club, dance/exercise for OP, Denton MAGs.

To relieve the needs of young people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and their families/carers by the provision of care, support and advice so that their conditions of life may be improved

Advocating, raising awareness and educating the public, statutory and non- statutory agencies about the issues and difficulties affecting the lives of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) people. This includes staging an annual LGBT festival and smaller events, including regular social events for the LGBT community and allies in a safe environment throughout the year.

TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PERSONS WHO 1) ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 25; AND 2) ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE; AND 3) ARE RESIDENT IN THE CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE

The Network worked on the Communities, Action, Reflection and Change progamme of the FCDL and leading the Communities Living Sustainably partnership bid.

The Bubble Foundation UK supports the work of the Childrens Bone Marrow Transplant unit at The Great North Childrens Hospital in Newcastle upon Tyne.We treat children from the northern half of England, Scotland ,Northern Ireland and Eire who are born with severe Immunodeficiences. We provide medical & educational equipment,finance research, and support families during a prolonged stay in hospital.

Making of grants for payment of school fees and equipment those in the north of England

We help sick children and their families; during transport to hospital, in hospital, in the community and with bereavement support - we work primarily in Cumbria and the North East

The premises are used by:-A Pre-School Play Group, Theatrical Society, Ballet Classes for ages 4 to Adult, Mixed Badminton, Ladies Badminton, Modern Dance Classes, Young People's Modern Dance Classes, Tea Dances, Old Time Dancing, Theatre Dance Classes and Scottish Country Dancing, Pilates, Fitness Sessions, Strength & Balance and Aerobics for the over 50's (NHS Project).

'The Friends of Sir Charles Parsons School' are a registered charity who support the work of Sir Charles Parsons School by fundraising for specialist equipment and resources. Sir Charles Parsons School is a school for your people who have a range of additional needs including severe learning disabilities, complex learning disabilities and profound and multiple learning disabilities

We exist for the public benefit to see the advancement of the Christian faith and relief of poverty primarily in the West End of Newcastle Upon Tyne. We host multiple weekly activities including; a Sunday Gathering, community practical care drop in sessions. These provide a place for people to grow in their understanding of Christianity and/or receive practical support to relieve poverty.

Promoting the participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for playing sports and in particular, rugby union football. Providing suitably qualified coaches and first aid if required to benefit the residents of Jarrow and the surrounding areas. Working with voluntary and other organisations to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation.
