STEPNEY BANK STABLES (SBS) IS AN INNER - CITY RIDING SCHOOL AND CHILDREN'S SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT LOCATED IN NEWCASTLE. OUR MISSION IS TO ENHANCE THE LIVES OF YOUNG PEOPLE, AGED 8 -18, THROUGH INTERACTIONS WITH HORSES. SBS PROVIDES RIDING, ACTIVITIES AND SPECIFICALLY CHOSEN WORKSHOPS WHICH ENABLE YOUNG PEOPLE TO LEARN AND DEVELOP THE NECESSARY LIFE SKILLS TO BECOME THE VERY BEST THEY CAN BE.

The principal activity is the management of the Almshouses, of Rye Hill and Benwell. The number of flats for occupation by Brethren are 19 at Rye Hill and 41 at Thomas Horsley House.

TYNESIDE VINEYARD IS A CHRISTIAN CHURCH THAT SERVES THE TYNESIDE REGION OF THE UK. THE CHURCH MEETS WEEKLY ON A SUNDAY MORNING AS WELL AS IN SMALL GROUPS AND THROUGH VARIOUS OTHER EVENTS! TYNESIDE VINEYARD HAS A PASSION TO MEET THE PRACTICAL NEEDS OF PEOPLE IN THIS AREA THROUGH INITIATIVES SUCH AS STOREHOUSE AND LOVE TYNESIDE. OUR AIM IS TO FIND EVEN MORE WAYS OF BLESSING OUR COMMUNITY.

Achieved through the provision of facilities for participating in gymnastics and gymnastic related activities.The activities of the charity, which is accredited to British Gymnastics, include training and coaching for members and the organisation of club and gymnastic competitions.

makes grants to charitable causes, typically those within Tyne and Wear and its immediate surrounds which aim to ease social deprivation and / or enrich the fabric of the local community and / or the quality of life of individuals within that community

PROPS North East provides care and support for the Families and Carers of Substance Misusers within North Tyneside and the City of Newcastle upon Tyne. The support provided includes: Complimentary Therapies; Advocacy; Group and One to One Support; Respite Care; Councelling; Training, and Respite in our own caravan

The Trust is governed by its constitution and its main objective is to preserve for the benefit of the public generally and especially for the inhabitants of the County of Tyne and Wear, buildings (including artefacts and land) which are of special historic, architectural, or townscape interest.

Welfare benefits & money advice and support for people suffering crisis, hardship and distress including people experiencing poor mental health, disability, unemployment, young parents, homelessness, domestic violence, addictions and poverty. Volunteering & training, enterprise support & managed workspace. Training for frontline staff and volunteers working with people facing hardship and crisis.

The object of the Charity is to administer and manage the property in its care.The income of the Estate Charity is to be applied as follows:1. Making small awards made under the governing scheme2. For the benefit of Newcastle Royal Grammar School - 53% of the balance3. As to the remainder for the related Almshouses Charity for the running of two residential homes

Ouseburn Farm, situated in the East End of Newcastle, is a free visitor attraction that boasts an award winning environmentally friendly visitor centre, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, meadows, ponds and woodlands.The Farm offers training to vulnerable adults, volunteering opportunities for local people and a range of activities for families and schoolchildren.

The Halo Project supports BME women and families with specialist advocacy by promoting the human rights of women through empowerment, education and specialist intervention programmes including emergency specialist accommodation. Our services, programmes & provision enhances safety & protection through trauma-informed approaches developed through lived experiences, preventing abuse and harm.

We offer facilities for local groups and organisations. We work with people of all ages and abilities. We offer worship and pastoral care.

Riverside Community Health Project uses community development approaches to enable individuals and groups to recognise and tackle the underlying causes of ill health. By working alongside the community, the organisation attempts to bring about improvements of lasting benefit to adults and children in the neighbourhoods of Benwell, Elswick, West City, Sctoswood, Fenham and beyond.

To advance the education & training of young people under 25, including those with EHCP. NYA operates an open door policy and welcomes anyone wishing to learn and promote their own employment prospects in the motor vehicle industry. NYA specialises in working with young people who have a poor school record or who may be at risk of offending.

Three13 uses work-based training to increase the skills, confidence and hope of local people to see social and economic transformation. Looking to prevent poverty at its root and address the health and wealth inequalities faced by those furthest from the jobs market, we deliver accredited, practical training to join the dots between their needs and needs of the communities in which they live

Ambassadors Football runs and facilitates football projects that build bridges across cultural, faith, ethnic and postcode divides, providing support, resources and training in order to invest in communities and empower volunteers, trainees, staff and churches to start new initiatives that lead to tangible social change.

To educate the general public in the arts, especially by enabling members of the public to work alongside artists producing works of high artistic class, and by the fostering and promotion of the participation in the arts within the North East region to address issues of social exclusion.

The charity inter-acted with the local Muslim community seeking volunteers and garnering donations.The Charity has held regular prayer meeting as well as lectures.

The charity holds regular Sunday services, Monthly Lamp Offering Services and Special Dharma Services. It provides counselling on a variety of subjects and conducts Chinese courses. It also performs marriages and funeral services.

IPC promotes the social and economic inclusion of refugees, asylum seekers and marginalised communities in the North East of England. Activities include ESOL, the Resettlement Programme for Overseas Doctors, Community Football, Capacity Building, Healthy Eating and Life-style, Gardening project, Cycling Recycling, Martial Arts, Developing and Supporting Volunteers in Sport, Community Champions.
