Our activities encourage people who are disabled to intergrate with non disabled on an equal platform. We annually attend Rotary Sports Days. An annual holiday to Butlins, Minehead and occassional trips.

Religious activities

The Charity Works with staff, parents, and others associated with the school and engage in activites that provide goods and equipment that support the school

We look after, assess and find new, loving homes, for greyhounds in need of care in Wales and The Marches. We provide vet treatment and kennelling and work in co operation with other like-minded Welsh groups to ensure that families offering suitable homes are not kept waiting. Wateredoak helps new migrants among the BAME Christian women community in Newport and its environs providing psycho-emotional and economic support as affordable by Wateredoak to help the economic life of the new members. This is done by holding discussion sessions once a week, one on one sessions, and signpost to other organizations if need be.

TO GRANT AID THE RELIGIOUS AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORK OF ANY EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH OR CHURCHES WITHIN A RADIUS OF 30 MILES OR RUARDEAN.

Raise funds for various charities, local and world wide ie. Cancer Research, , Hospice's, Water Aid,Requests from local people in need, and many more causes too numerous and varied to list.

Fundraising for school via Parent Teacher Friends Association we follow the Model Constitution adopted from Parentkind last updated March 2021.

To give the opportunity to playbrass music for the entertainment of both participants and the public. to provide training for young people in music and in particular brass instrumentation . We play concerts, some for charitable purposes and also enter contests throughout the year.

An affordable counselling service and mental health support for individuals in Newport and the surrounding areas of South Wales. Clients are encouraged to make a voluntary donation to help cover costs. Counsellors offer their services on a voluntary basis. The service also has an educational component, offering placements for trainee counsellors and those working towards accreditation hours.

The W.I. provides a varied programme of events to inform educate and entertain women of all ages. The Institute is open to all women irrespective of race or creed.

Offers financial assistance to churches in the Dioceses of Llandaff and Monmouth for the maintenance and improvement of bell installations

Friends of Ysgol Bryn Castell aim to advance the education of the pupils at YBC by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities (not required to be provided by the LEA) for education.Ysgol Bryn Castell is a 7-19 Special School for children and young people with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties, including a specialist provision for children with Autism at the school.

Tafflab makes grants to enterprise students who wish to start up their own businesses in disadvantaged communities. Applicants currently attend and are recommended by partner colleges. Tafflab interview to confirm eligibility, work with the Enterprise Champions employed by the colleges and provide mentoring by RSA Fellows. Regular meetings between mentors, mentees and champions confirm progress

Grants for community activities/events

The primary activities of the charity shall be fundraising via events including, but not restricted to, an annual fireworks display. Funds raised shall be distributed by way of grants and donations to charities and good causes in Cardiff and the surrounding geographic areas.

To assist with the promotion of Tredegar House to the public. To assist the National Trust and/or Newport City Council by making donations towards the purchase of Tredegar House artefacts and assisting with the cost of conserving Tredegar House artefacts now in possession of the National Trust and/or Newport City Council.

Promoting road safety through improving driving standards and preparing candidates for the Advanced Driving Test

Since our aim is to further cultural relations with France and to strengthen members' knowledge of France, the French language and the French way of life we have regular lectures, in French, on varied aspects of French culture - literature, art, music - or travel in France - or the French language - or, indeed any aspect of French life or history.

The provision of practical and verbal advice to individuals wishing to improve their driving skills for the benefit of road safety.

We raise money for charities locally and abroad. We give prizes to local comprehensive schools. We have a service day each year for local or international community. We assist Rotary with their charities.
