The purpose of the 1st Rogerstone Scout Group is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

We run a community centre and engage in conservation, community engagement and development activities and projects within Pentrebane, the wider community of Cardiff and South Wales. We hire out facilities to third parties that provide or offer services, employment, benefits to our local and wider communities in line with our constitutional aims. We work in partnership with multiple agencies.

The village hall is available for hire by local individuals and organisations.

2 Annual conferences in London; Local level programmes in Glasgow, Newport and Northampton; 21 days programme to commemorate the death anniversary of Lady Fatima (PBUH) held on local levels in Luton, London, Northampton, Manchester and Newport. Distribution of awards and gifts including air ticket. Recitation programmes in Ramadan, printing and sale of charity calenders to raise funds, Eid Fair.

Furthering our objective.

The Charity raised the funds to build and equip a modern, larger Therapy Centre enabling the West of England MS Therapy Centre ltd to move to this donated, easily accessible site for those living with a Neurological Condition in 2012. The Charity is responsible for the building and has the head lease with the Local Authority.

The furtherance of music performance, teaching and competition to the general public and to our peers.

The objectives of the Charity:To provide grants and donations for such charitable purposes for the public benefit.Charitable support to include:Funding for sporting activities that promote healthy recreation for young people to support their advancement in sport.Providing sporting equipment for disabled children.Providing relief for those in need at vulnerable times.

We operate as a drop-in centre, help whoever comes in with a need. We help people with anything, if we are not able to do so, we help them to seek professional assistance by providing interpreting/translating. We also support Government agencies & public organisations to delivery their services by interpreting/translating and liaising for them.

The church supports the local community by having conventions, open days and regular worship.

The charity uses the money for charitable purposes in Nash village. We help parishioners who require funding for visits to hospitals & doctors for medical reasons. The charity helps children and young people to fund educational needs. The charity gives grants to other organisations for the welfare of the residents of Nash.

WSSAG Wales is a lobbying, advocacy and support group working with asylum seeker and refugee women and their families in order to bring about positive changes in the refugee system and provide support and activities for them.

As a school PTA, we arrange and hold fundraising events to raise funds to purchase items that will enable the children to receive a greater enriched learning experience. We also look to encourage and arrange events to enable staff, children and parents to come together to enrich the learning of each and every pupil.

We are a Village Hall in Llanwern Village gifted to the village by Viscountess Rhondda for the use of the community. It has a Board of Trustees and a Management Committee who look after the day by day running of the Hall, see to any repairs and coordinate bookings. We are used for health, social, educational and general welfare of the Community.

Newport Borough Brass is a traditional British brass band. The Band, as its name suggests is based in Newport, Gwent in South East Wales where it operates. The Band has a very professional outlook and plays at local fetes, concerts, private and public functions, in addition the Band is a contesting band and is currently in the 2nd Section nationally and in the 2nd section in Wales.

Friends of TJFS are parents, teachers and friends who help with fundraising as part of the school community and the PTA UK network. Over the years we have purchased many items and the group has organised the school prom since 2005. We contribute towards school trips, provide equipment and books for various departments, and support events at the school.

ST MARY'S PTFA HOLDS FUND RAISING EVENTS FOR THE CHILDREN AND PARENTS OF THE SCHOOL AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY. FUNDS ARE PLEDGED TO THE SCHOOL FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CHILDREN TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL RESOURCES AND EQUIPMENT.

We perform concerts for many senior citizens homes, for other charities, and the general public. Our aim is to educate and entertain the public in the art of male choral music and singing.

Hedgehog Helpline operates in South East Wales. We rescue, rehabilitate and release sick, inured or orphaned hedgehogs to release back into the wild. During 2023 we received 1225 hedgehogs We received in excess of 3500 calls on HelplineWe are a volunteer run charityWe attended 46 events/venues to give talks etc to educate and raise awareness of the plight of the hedgehog

A Christian witness to the community and surrounding area, to provide a place for worship,fellowship and teaching the Christian faith. To support directly and indirectly the proclamation of the Good News at home and abroad.

To provide tuition to young people (and older) in the creative art of playing brass instruments, to promote the brass band to an increasingly wider audience. To support other charitable organisations through music.
