To develop the capacity and skills of members of BME Over 50s of social disadvantage community of Newport and District in such a way that they are better able to identify and help to meet their needs: In Creative Writing, Performing Art, Story-telling, Choir singing, Handcraft, Walking, Swimming, Healthy eating, Exercise, enabling them to participate more fully in society.

- Raising awareness of issues and challenges faced by the autistic individuals and their families from the various ethnic communities in the UK.- Providing resources through discussions and sharing information around the barriers that ethnically diverse autistic communities face.- signposting, working with organisations to work around/ease these barriers for the families & their community.

We teach skills for life to young people in and around Pontnewydd in Cwmbran, Torfaen.These skills are taught via outdoor & adventurous activities such as camping, hiking etc.

Thrive Cardiff provide recreational activities, events and trips for families who have a child with additional needs. THe activities are for the whole family and are exclusive to Thrive.

Mens Walk & Talk Group for men to improve their physical and mental health

MIXED PROGRAMME OF CHORAL MUSIC. EXCHANGE VISITS WITH HEIDENHEIM (GERMANY) EVERY THREE YEARS. CONCERTS ANNUALLY FOR THE BENEFIT OF LOCAL CHARITIES.

Christian activities. Teaches the Bible as the inspired word of God and preaches the Gospel of Salvation through Jesus Christ. Advancing Christianity and educating people about Christianity.

As well as competing at both local and national levels in brass band competitions, we provide music for the local community together with music tuition for all ages especially disadvantaged youngsters as well as providing historical information to heritage groups, keeping alive the tradition of colliery bands. We provide concerts for other charities, veteran and senior citizen groups.

The relief of sickness and preservation of health and in particular by:- the provision and promotion of cardiac rehabilitation and cardiac related healthcare within Wales. The education of the public in cardiac related health issues.

Raises money through school related events which is then spent on providing better facilities for the children of Pentrepoeth Primary School.

Monmouth Big Band exists to perform and promote the genre of big band music. It performs regularly in the Monmouth and Newport areas.

Activities are centred upon fundraising to support Gwent Music Support Service, Gwent Music groups and advance the musical education of students participating in these groups. We provide education and training in the techniques of family history research. We encourage the conservation of documents and structures, which record details of social and family history. We sponsor and provide volunteers to undertake research into such documents and thereby act as an umbrella or resource body.
