The relief of need through the provision of emergency supplies of food, clothing and other essentials. Support is given through the distribution of parcels of supplies in response to referrals for individuals in urgent need. A community larder is also offered, allowing beneficiaries to select good for themselves from the stock held by the charity.

To raise funds for Sondes Lodge No 996 and other Local and National Masonic Charities. Occasionally, if funds permit, small donations may be made to other worthy local causes

The Charitable Trust has funds from an endowment invested to produce an annual return. Income is passed to Southrepps PCC to help it meet St James' Church, Southrepps expenses and Southrepps Parish Share which is paid to the Diocese of Norwich. Trustees also consider requests for assistance which help to further the religious and other local charitable work of the C of E.

Proving a place for people to meet and hold different groups

The Aylsham Community Partnership was set up in November 2006 and it focuses on the advancement of education through the Aylsham Heritage Centre and the improvement of the environment through Aylsham in Bloom. The Partnership preserved an historic Grade II listed building to provide a Heritage Centre for residents and visitors to Aylsham for local-history exhibitions and talks.

We provided facilities for groups to meet, social events, recreation ground for our village football teams and a play area for the residents of the village and surrounding villages.

Our charity has focused on advancing the education of pupils at Lionwood Infant and Nursery School by developing and assisting in the provision of a library facility. This initiative addresses the lack of library funding provided by the local education authority. Our efforts have been directed towards creating a welcoming and resourceful environment for the children.

Supporting partnership and co-operation across libraries and information services in the East Midlands.

Chatterbox, the Norwich Talking Newspaper provides weekly recordings of the Eastern Evening News. As well as the weekly news we provide relevant information and details of upcoming events plus a special Christmas edition and quarterly magazine recording. We also supply equipment to play the recordings on. This is all created by a dedicated team volunteers and has been in operation since 1979.

Relief of poverty and grants for further education to young people

The Turtle Dove is a homing migratory dove kept in captive pairs, very prolific breeders and after laying two eggs, will lay again. The young are fostered by other tamer doves, and the young are released into the wild in late summer. They spend a month in specially constructed release pens, in order to familiarise them with natural food and their wild habitat. They will return every year.

To provide transport for the elderly and disabled in Fakenham and surrounding villages.shopping, doctors, clinics, outings, this is a door to door service. With a helper on each bus to assist with heavy shopping and walking aids.Our 2 buses are out everyday, we have regular routes out to villages into Supermarkets and all have a chance to go on outings, theatres etc.

Provide building facilities and open space for all members of the local community and near villages. Provide sports space for local primary school, youth group and parent & toddler group. Provide nine allotment plots for use by members of the community on annual agreement on first come first served basis.

Monitoring and preserving the historic gardens of Norfolk

Village Hall available to hire - used mainly by regular groups - This includes:- Young @ Heart Group, Badminton , Short Mat Bowls, Rackheath Players, Band Practice, Line Dancing, Dog Agility, Home Educators and Bird Auction - also available for private hire.

Preacher's Charity: apply 2/3rd's of cleared income for the benefit of the Dean & Chapter of Norwich Cathedral, the remaining 1/3rd to be made available for the benefit of inhabitants of the city of Norwich.

THE PROMOTION OF CHORAL SINGING FOR ALL

The charity manages the community centre for the use of village clubs covering all age groups, private hire for parties, wedding receptions, meetings, fund raising activities by other charities, art exhibitions, job interviews etc. It is open for private hire by responsible persons over the age of eighteen from inside and outside the village.
