VILLAGE HALL FOR USE FOR SOCIAL FUNCTIONS ALL RESIDENTS

Hall for the use of residents and general public for village projects and events, activity groups, parties, dog shows, keep fit, outdoor activities.

The advancement of amateur sport and recreation by promoting the game of bridge for the benefit of theresidents of Norfolk and the surrounding area; and the provision of facilities for the learning, teaching and playing of contract bridge in accordance with the rules of the English Bridge Union, for the benefit of the residents ofNorfolk and the surrounding area.

Providing an open space for sports facilities for a range of activities. These facilities are available for all groups and individuals to use for recreation.

The Trust provides grants to charities and groups and individuals within the terms of the objects of the Trust Deed. These include advancing the Christian faith, alleviating poverty, relief of sickness and the promotion of health, conserving and improving the natural environment and promoting excellence in art. The main focus is on North Norfolk and Nottingham.

We organise and support local events to raise funds for charitable purposes. We provide financial and other support towards events and activities provided for our local community. We provide financial assistance in support of national charities that operate in our community and towards overseas disasters. Also, we provide financial assistance to the Rotary Foundation.

The object of the association is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by 1) developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school and 2) engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

The PTFA raises money to provide (or assist to provide) services, facilities and support to the St Francis of Assisi community and to enhance the school experience for students. Money is raised in the local area (or on the school premises) via fetes, fairs, discos, raffles and other activities.

To advance the education of pupils at the Clare School, South park Avenue, Norwich NR4 7AU, and to relieve disability of pupils at that school.

The trustees shall apply the income of the charity to give assistance to persons resident in the parish of Horstead with Stanninghall who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress, and to apply any funds not needed for this purpose for charitable purposes for the general benefit of the inhabitants of the said parish

Scouting Group

The Charity raises funds by devising and participating in various fund-raising events. Its funds are used to provide facilities for needy people and other deserving causes, mainly locally but also to support national and international charitable causes approved by Lions Clubs International.

The underpinning philosophy of Willing and Abel is 'See the one; love the one'. Although we cannot possibly cope with every needy child in the world, we can show love and practical help to the one that has been made known to us.We do this by helping to find, and usually fund, transport, pre-op care, operations, aftercare and education for each child/family, as the Trustees consider appropriate.

We manage subscriptions, donations and legacies in favour of the Health Centre and use the money for the benefit of the patients and Doctors.
