THE PROGRAMME WILL PROVIDE SMALL GRANTS TO ORGANISATIONS OR INDIVIDUALS.

The John Leggott College Student Fund exists to provide financial support to students and to try to ensure that no student is unable to complete a course of education at the college simply due to financial restrictions. We are an Astronomical Society with an observatory and meeting room situated at Beacon Hill, Cleethorpes. Although a members' society, all our activities are open to the general public. We organise talks, sessions for newcomers to astronomy, public observing evenings, Informal meetings and outreach sessions for schools, scouting groups and other organisations.

We provide opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in sport and active recreation. These include regular weekly activities at Clee Sports Hall and swimming at Grimsby Leisure Centre. There are also additional events - ten-pin bowling, it's a knockout competitions etc. and competitive opportunities at local, regional and national level.
