Charity donations at Christmas to Elderly in local community

Providing grants predominantly to small and medium sized charities and organisations in the East Midlands whose activities align with our charitable purposes and particular areas of focus as from time to time agreed by the charity's trustees.

To provide quality recreational services and support for youngsters with special needs in the Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Immingham and surrounding areas: and to provide support and services to youngsters families by way of respite.

Promote the growing and exhibiting of chrysanthemums throughout the North of England

Amateur dramatics

The preservation and restoration of rolling stock and associated equipment from narrow-gauge military, industrial and agricultural railways.

Working locally, nationally ,and Internationally as part of Rotary International, the club responds to needs in the community and further afield as the occasions arise. Recent monies have been raised for relief of famine in the Horn of Africa, mosquito nets for anti malarial use , the RNLI, water aid, A local Hospice and the RI ,end polio now campaign

Support of Christian outreach locally, nationally and internationally

A trust set up in 1979 to the memory of Peter Withington, Headteacher of Frederick Gough Comprehensive School, for the benefit of young people up to the age of 21 and resident in the North Lincolnshire Council area.Trustees meet termly to make awards to support a wide range of endevours by young people such as music, performance, sports and international events.

To apply its income for the relief of need amongst clergy who are resident in the Diocese of York or who have served in the Diocese of York for at least 10 years.

Annual music and drama festival held in Brigg, Lincs, for competitors of all ages. Many of our competitors are school children who benefit and gain confidence from performing in front of an audience. Apart from the war and Covid years, the Festival has been encouraging children and adults to share their talents since 1900. 2023 will hopefully see the 100th Festival.

The provision and maintenance of the hall in the village for the use of the residents of Wold Newton and for use by others wishing to use and rent this facility in the village.

The Charity was formed in 1890 with the aim of assisting in the education for children of the Parish of Haxey. Yearly grants are made to Haxey and Westwoodside schools and local youth organisations. Children educated in the two schools are presented with a Children's Bible for Year 2 pupils and a Good News Bible for Year 6 pupils. PERSONAL GRANT APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED.
