Our PTFA works together to create a school community of parents, teachers, pupils and others associated with West Butterwick CE Primary Academy. Together we fundraise to help provide all pupils with extra opportunities and experiences and to provide facilities and equipment which support the school and advance the education of all pupils.

Provides facilities for community groups to meet

Payment of grants to retired priests and deacons

Provides much needed holidays for patients at subsidised cost at our two luxury caravans.Hold socials and events.Hold meetings regularly to provide patient information and give mutual support.Promote the organ donor scheme and other renal events.Fundraise to buy necessary equipment for the renal unit.Producea newsletter, mail to patients and renal staff.Provide a telephone helpline.

Book Grants to students attending higher education (ie University).Students must live in the following parishes: Kirton in Lindsey,Blyborough, Grayingham, Hibaldstow, Manton, Northorpe, Redbourne, Scotter, Scotton and Waddingham.Students must also have attended one of the following Primary Schools for at least 2 years:Kirton in Lindsey, Scotter, Messingham, Waddingham or Hibaldstow

The Charity was formed in 1890 with the aim of assisting in the education for children of the Parish of Haxey. Yearly grants are made to Haxey and Westwoodside schools and local youth organisations. Children educated in the two schools are presented with a Children's Bible for Year 2 pupils and a Good News Bible for Year 6 pupils. PERSONAL GRANT APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED.

TO HELP THOSE WHO HAVE OR ARE ABOUT TO HAVE AN ILEOSTOMY OR INTERNAL POUCH. TO SUPPLY INFORMATION AND SUPPORT TO ANY INTERESTED PARTY. TO WHERE POSSIBLE RAISE MONIES FOR RESEARCH INTO BOWEL DISEASES AND OFFER HELP AND TO DONATE ITEMS TO THE MEDICAL PROFESSION. TO ORGANISE MEETINGS AND SOCIAL EVENTS FOR ITS MEMBERS.

Provision of financial assistance to parishioners of Belton, where no other support is available.

Parent teacher association providing activities and facilities to help the school

The Society organises an annual Music Festival of mostly competitive classes held in 3 or 4 venues in the seaside town of Hornsea over a period of either 3 or 4 days. It is held during the first week of July. Fund raising social events such as Coffee Mornings and Garden Parties may be held at other times throughout the year.

Commenting on planning applications and policies; training parish clerks and volunteers to be effective in their responses to planning applications; raising awareness of the countryside and the need to protect it from the adverse affects of development; organising and running the annual Best Kept Village competition.

Providing financial help for persons resident in Barton-On-Humber (N Lincolnshire) who are suffering from ill-health and for their relatives / carers in appropriate cases.

Charitable trusts for the public benefit in North Yorkshire and Humberside in particular with regard to the improvement and preservation of the environment.

CHURCH REPAIR

"To advance the education of the public in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment by establishing, promoting and maintaining an Education and Wildlife centre on Healey Road, Scunthorpe".

Relief of poverty

Girls between 10years and 14years , various activities within the guiding role ie. crafts , camping , cooking , other activities

Annual Summer and Christmas Fairs, quiz nights, car boot sales, childrens' discos.

To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing adults,not exclusively men in Brigg, from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of people who are socially excluded and helping them to integrate into society by providing facilities in which they can meet to undertake creative, physical or recreational activities, learn or pass on skills, knowledge and support each other.

Research and education about local heritage and preservation of the built heritage of Barton upon Humber. The society develops archives and interprets local history through a series of information leaflets, building plaques, lecture and talks.

Fundraising to support pupils, staff & visitors to the school. Promoting the school involvement in the local community.

Working locally, nationally ,and Internationally as part of Rotary International, the club responds to needs in the community and further afield as the occasions arise. Recent monies have been raised for relief of famine in the Horn of Africa, mosquito nets for anti malarial use , the RNLI, water aid, A local Hospice and the RI ,end polio now campaign
