FUND RAISING

PROVISION OF AMENITY AND FACILITIES TO LOCAL POPULATION

Relieving poverty, Advice and information service, welfare rights, community cafe, education and training, internet cafe, chair based exercises, craft groups, drug and alcohol support, recycled clothes and other goods.

To raise funds for the conduct of medical research into the causes and management of breast and other cancers in particular the immunotherapy studies led by Professor O. Eremin.

Encouraging the public to visit Doncaster Mansion House and educating them about the building and its history.Supporting education about the architect of Doncaster Mansion House, James Paine.

Friends of Epworth Turbary Mission hold non denominational services for the local community and from any funds raised make small donations to needy causes.

Assisting the Emergency Services and Local Resilience Forums with Community Resilience / 4x4 logistics / Search and Rescue / Providing Manpower.

Provides buildings, facilities and open space for meetings, gatherings, social and sports events.

To assist the relief of women (and their children) who have suffered or who are at risk of suffering domest violence . To advance the education of the public in the issues surrounding domestic violence.

Working within the community and voluntary sector within the Humber area to assist organisations to improve, protect and procure recreation facilities

KEEPING THE GRAVEYARD OF ULCEBY ST.NICHOLAS CHURCH IN GOOD ORDER AND REPAIR.

Full initially will be a catering business but with scope to diversify into other areas. The ethos of the charity is to enhance the skills of the socially disadvantaged with the aim of increasing chances of employment.

General charitable purposes.Overseas aid/famine relief.Economic/community development/employment.

Provide two meeting rooms together with kitchen and toilets as well as an office/Doctor's examination room for the benefit of all organisations within East Halton and their members and can be hired by people from outside East Halton to provide leisure and indoor recreational facilities for the residents of East Halton. Finally, we provide room for a Polling Station when needed.

Fun fund raising events within our school and village community for the benefit of the children in school and village.

Luncheon Club , Indoor Bowls, Bingo, Drama Club, Keep Fit, Townswomen's Guild and Disabled Group, keep fit, Wood turners , Mini pamper sessions, Auction, MS Society, Street Sports (during winter months).

Our activities are mainly led by individual or group applications, providing grants and financial support for activities, projects or equipment that will benefit young people either during, or after cancer treatment within the East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire areas.

TEACHING PERSONS OF ALL AGES TO PLAY BRASS BAND INSTRUMENTS.PUBLIC PERFORMANCES INCLUDING CONTESTS AND CONCERTS.

The Better Barrow Community Project is a village-based charity whose purpose is to improve the amenity of the village and develop an interest in and appreciation of our heritage. A major aspect of that heritage is the life and work of John Harrison of Longitude fame.
