To relieve the suffering of dogs in need of care, rescue and attention and in particular to provide and maintain facilities and homes for the reception, care and treatment of such animals.

To proudly promote Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender culture through public celebration of our heritage and engaging in education and cultural activities that enrich the community, whilst raising awareness of the issues people face regarding sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and sex characteristics whilst building mutual respect and working to end discrimination

As a charity provide the following services-1. Educational support services- we run free after school session to improve the children from BAME background. 2. Mental health workshop- we run various mental health workshop to increase the awareness of mental health issues and discuss on this topic.3. Family Fun Day in Bank Holidays4. Activities to keep the Park and street cleaning etc.

Northumberland Pride is a county wide organisation that to raises awareness of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender (LGBT) culture and heritage. We do this by promoting equality and diversity for the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity.

Deaflink NE works to improve access to education, health, employment, leisure, equipment and social opportunities for deaf, deafblind, deafened and hard of hearing people who live and work in the North East, through *awareness training *providing information to the community *Providing support and network through our groups

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP AND TEACHING FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN. MIDWEEK MEETINGS FOR TEACHING, FELLOWSHIP AND PRAYER FOR ALL AGES. MONTHLY EVENTS FOR MEN AND LADIES. A WEEKLY LUNCH CLUB FOR OVER 50S FOR CHURCH AND NON-CHURCH MEMBERS. JELLY BEANS TODDLER GROUP. YOUTH GROUP. INVOLVED IN VARIOUS EVENTS WITH OTHER CHURCHES IN THE AREA, INCLUDING A COMMUNITY DAY IN THE PARK WHERE WE PROVIDE A FREE BBQ.

The charity provides community centre facilites to the local community and beyond. Room space is hired out to various organisations. Amongst other things it is used as a polling station, councillor meetings, resident groups, blood donor site. It was also used as a base for victims who were caught up in local flooding within the area last year. It depends on an annual Local Government grant.

THROUGH GRANTS TO OUR STRATEGIC PARTNERS AND OTHER SUPPORT, WE PROMOTE POLICY CHANGE BY FUNDING PROJECTS THAT INFORM DISCUSSION AND INFLUENCE PUBLIC POLICY. OUR AIM IS TO EMPOWER COMMUNITIES AND REDUCE SOCIAL DEPRIVATION.

The main activities undertaken are youth leadership opportunities, Future Proof transitional activities to move into the world of work, building relationships between schools, businesses and families, cross - sector partnership development. Community projects including Carnivals, Celebrations, Community Events,Lead VCSE co-ordinating Northumberland Holiday Provision for families & children.

We aim to help communities, especially those most marginalised and disadvantaged, influence health and social care planning and delivery to more accurately reflect local needs and aspirations.

To raise aspirations and create better prospects by supporting individuals to become resilient, confident, ambitious and independant under our vision of "Your Future - Our Business". To achieve the objectives of the charity through the provision of education and vocational training, provide counselling and advisory services and assist with advice and information to both individuals and charities.

The club seeks to promote community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities for athletics in North Tyneside, and by encouraging participation in athletics.The Club plays a significant role in hosting, organising and supporting a number of local road races, trackand field competitions and other fun running events.

The Charity exists to help students at state comprehensives in northern England access leading universities, where they are currently very under-represented.

The Charity, based in Wallsend, provides welcome, practical support, social/sporting activities, advocacy and sign posting for refugees and asylum -seekers in North Tyneside, as well as promoting the local Schools of Sanctuary.(The Trustee end-of-year report gives more details.)

To provide for the benefit of children under sixteen years on the 1st January in any particular year of benefit who have displayed exceptional character in overcoming serious sickness or injury and who are deserving of an award to recognise such achievement.

Regular worship open to all. Pastoral work, visiting the sick and bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups, Taking assemblies in schools. Promoting the mission of the church through events, meetings and distribution of literature. Provision of activities for senior citizens, parents, toddlers and other groups. Supporting charities in the UK and overseas.

We provide long term programmes of support for young people from some of the most challenging backgrounds, providing access to the finance, social capital, opportunities and the supportive relationships needed to succeed in tertiary education and beyond.

Providing grants for STEM related education across the North East of England, in particular advancing the education of students of UTC South Durham.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation, for the benefit of all inhabitants of Cullercoats and the surrounding areas, by the provision of facilities for playing association football.

Apna Ghar is a centre run by and for minority ethnic women residing in a deprived area of South Tyneside. The centre provides vocational and non-vocational classes i.e. IT, English for beginners. Make services more accessible to the senior citizen members of the community with luncheon clubs, health awareness sessions. It also provides activities for the youth community.

Advocating, raising awareness and educating the public, statutory and non- statutory agencies about the issues and difficulties affecting the lives of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) people. This includes staging an annual LGBT festival and smaller events, including regular social events for the LGBT community and allies in a safe environment throughout the year.
