Great Ayton Methodist Church operates from premises on High Street, Great Ayton, North Yorkshire.Its Mission and Vision is centred on five key pillars: Vibrant in worship & being; Ecumanical; Prayerful; Community based and a Place for All. Its Mission statements is 'to show God's love to all'GAMC activities are focused on welcoming and integrating all ages and backgrounds.

To further the interests of residents and businesses in, and visitors to the Mashamshire region of North Yorkshire, to establish and operate a Mashamshire Community Office and to work in liaison with the Police and other authorities to provide information and services for tourists, residents and businesses.

We provide affordable 8am-6pm care for children from Alne (Nth Yorks) & local villages of age 2 to school age. We develop & educate children through play in a safe, stimulating environment; developing co-operation and sharing; teaching them to treat others with kindness and respect; encouraging them to be independent learners. We welcome children with special learning needs or disabilities.

Accessible Arts & Media runs a range of inclusive creative learning and wellbeing projects for groups including disabled adults and young people, older people with dementia and people with enduring mental health problems. Our projects help people develop the skills and confidence to connect with their local community and have more of a say in the things that matter to them.

Preservation, Restoration and Operation of Steam Railway Locomotives

To provide Almshouses for persons of limited financial means aged between 55 and 70 upon initial occupation. Residents must be of good character and members of the Church of England

The main activities of the charity are the examination and licensing of deep sea pilots, the relief of poor mariners and their widows, and the provision of youth maritime training, the provision of maritime consultancy services, and the upkeep and conservation of ancient listed buildings.

To provide the framework to support Scout groups in the area; to enable the provision of support for the physical, mental and spiritual development of young people under the rules of the Scout Association.

To promote, advance and improve for the benefit of the public agriculture, horticulture and rural crafts and skills by the demonstration and showing of livestock machinery, crafts, products, methods and processes connected with agriculture and agricultural education by the holding of an annual Show - known as the Ryedale Show.

Poppleton Methodist Church has Sunday service at 10:30. During the week we have a range of community activities in our hall including "Coffee on the Green" at : 10:00-16:00 every Monday and Tuesday (10:00-14:00 when Tuesday Fellowship meet).In addition there is a range of clubs and societies that operate from our premises. Providing grants for educational affairs and gifts for the elderly

To provide childcare and early years education through term-time for children aged 2 - 5 years. Also to provide before and after school provision for children aged 5 - 12 years and 7 weeks per annum holiday childcare for children aged 2 - 12 years. The Pre-School is situated in 2 dedicated rooms in Embsay with Eastby Village Institue with continuous access to a secure outdoor area.

Provision of an Ofsted registered Pre School setting for children aged 2-4 during school hours. Offering a breakfast and after school club for children aged 2 -4 during term time. Additional provision of a holiday club for children aged 2-8 for a limited number of weeks outside of school term times.
