To provide Almshouses for persons of limited financial means aged between 55 and 70 upon initial occupation. Residents must be of good character and members of the Church of England

Provision of an Ofsted registered Pre School setting for children aged 2-4 during school hours. Offering a breakfast and after school club for children aged 2 -4 during term time. Additional provision of a holiday club for children aged 2-8 for a limited number of weeks outside of school term times.

We work closely together with childrens families and carers to provide a safe and stimulating learning environment which is designed to enable all children to develop. We encourage this development by planning for their interests and needs. In a way which will fully engage them and by making their time fun and enjoyable.

We are an OFSTED registered pre-school providing places for children aged 2 1/2 to 4. We provide an excellent play-based educational programme through which all individual children will enjoy and achieve their full potential. Through constant observations and assessments we are able to plan to support every child's individual needs and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Connect in the North works to improve services and opportunities for people with learning difficulties. We offer training, research and consultancy.

Our u3a offers learning activities which reflect members wishes and which aim to satisfy the widest possible range of interests; educational, cultural, recreational, physical and social.

1) Providing worship, prayer and teaching services in Chester-Le-Street. 2) Encouraging and supporting individuals in the church and wider community. 3) Provision of services for children and young people. 4) Supporting through giving financial gifts to individuals and organisations that fulfil the charities vision and values.

The charity oversees worship at All Saints Church, Sherburn in Elmet and local outreach activities, eg in schools. It is also responsible for the maintenance of the Church and the Church Hall, and also the activities that take place in the Church Hall.

Holding activities for the local community, dances,quizes,the WI, talks, film shows etc and the hall is used a number of evenings for badminton. The hall is also hired for private functions i.e. birthday parties, weddings, cubs etc. We fund raise to keep the hall in good state of repair by doing jumble sales, race nights, dances etc.

We protect the natural environment of the North York Moors and wildlife it supports.We build resilience in people and nature. We enhance health and wellbeing by connecting people and communities in the North York Moors and surrounding areas with nature and each other. We keep local tradition and heritage alive. We host projects, work in partnership, and provide grants and awards.

The charity provides a volunteer search and rescue service to members of the public in distress on the North York Moors, Howardian Hills, Yorkshire Wolds and in any other such place as requested.

Care for the local community, services in care homes for the elderly. Food hampers for the needy/lonely. Children's holiday clubs and festive parties. Regular weekly services for all ages including a monthly youth social event, ladies group and mens group.

TVRA works with rural communities to enable them to identify and respond to local needs; provides direct support to groups and individuals through advice and guidance, organises activities, deliver services, e.g. community transport; informs and influences local policy; highlight rural issues; develop and participate in appropriate partnerships; commissioning relevant research and development.

Our general charitable purpose mainly involves the support of the elderly and vulnerable within the community. Relieve the suffering of cats and kittens due to neglect, being abandoned, sickness, stray and maltreated by providing shelter and appropriate care, veterinary treatment, neutering and arranging for their adoption to safe, caring homes. Also to provide education to the public regarding the proper care and welfare of cats and kittens. Area of operation is Keighley and surrounding districts.
