Rural Playgroup and Pre-school serving children aged 2 - 5

To provide and maintain a viable performing arts centre for community arts organisations and emerging professional theatre groups:1. to facilitate the development and presentation of live theatre in all its forms and2. in support of the performing arts assist in the promotion, maintenance, advancement and education of the entire community of York and surrounding areas

Burniston Methodist Church is located in the village of Burniston, just north of Scarborough in North Yorkshire. It is open for worship every Sunday and additional events take place through the week. Examples include a fortnightly youth group, Boys Brigade, The Meeting Place, a weekly toddlers group supporting parents and caregivers, a weekly bible study and a weekly beading group.

To provide pre-school education and care to under 5's.

The society's activities are to educate the public in the art and science of choral music in the presentation of concerts and other activities and in furtherance thereof to encourage and support other musical activities in the local area.

Community libraries

The object of the fund is to advance the education of the students of the school by providing or assisting the provision of education, recreational and other charitable facilities in augmentation of such facilities financed by the local education authority.

Armed Forces

The provision of sociable and charitable facilities for the residents of East Keswick without distinction of sex, colour or religious beliefs. Use of the facilities of the East Keswick Village Hall for the benefit of the village residents.

To give Carers weekly respite time thus safeguarding their health and enabling them to continue to care at home. To operate a service that befriends socially isolated people living alone in the local community.

Voluntary youth organisation for boys and girls aged 12 - 18 (10 for junior sections)Provides a range of activities, sport and skills which are attractive and adventurous within a caring discipline, based on the high standards of the Royal Navy, to which young people can respond and which will in turn assist their development of self confidence, self discipline, leadership and responsibility.

To allow preschool aged children to discover and explore freely, to combine learning with play. Providing opportunities to learn, we help our children expand their knowledge and increase their vocabulary, learning alphabet, numbers and information about the everyday environment, the world, and how things work. The objects of the CIO are to educate the public in the art and science of choral music and to promote, develop, and maintain appreciation of choral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts , and by such other ways as the CIO through its committee shall determine from time to time.

We promote, encourage and facilitate for the benefit of the public in and around Foxglove Covert Local Nature Reserve through:the conservation, protection, improvement of the physical and natural environment;research and learning for the advancement of knowledge in the natural sciences and biodiversity;educational and social value of the environment.

Youth Brass Band

The objective of the CIO is the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment of the Lower Derwent Valley.

We provide early years childcare and education for children aged 2 years and upwards (until starting school).

We are an Assemblies of God Great Britain church based in the market town of Skipton, North Yorkshire, which is committed to sharing the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people. We regularly run a Sunday children's programme, a weekly Parent and Toddler Group and also a Christians Against Poverty Job Club. We also support financially children overseas through the Compassion project

Rillington Pre-School meets Monday to Friday - 9am till 3pm - with a lunch club at Rillington Village Hall.The pre-school aims to provide the highest standards of education for children between the ages of two and five years.

Pre school setting for children aged birth-5 yr olds operating 8.30-5.30pm term time only.

York Rescue Boat is to provide a physical and proactive commitment to furthering the safety of the rivers in York. We aim to achieve this by means of a patrol and rescue boat, education and awareness. With progression York Rescue Boat endeavours to provide a stand-by team that will respond as an auxiliary service to the 999 services in area?s of Search & Rescue and community flood assistance.

The main activity is to produce a chamber music festival during August featuring many concerts over a two week period and other concerts from time to time. The charity has a policy to undertake its activity within historical buildings within the North York Moors, in particular historic places of worship, when possible.

The Group was formed to provide an essential part of the rehabilitation process after a heart attack or heart surgery. This is done through regular Monthly Meetings, exercise classes, walking group, art group and swimming sessions. Members are kept in touch through a quarterly Newsletter.
