The H.W.Mawer Trust exists to preserve the Mawer collection of fine and decorative art and antiques,and for the display of the collection at Sion Hill Hall,Kirby Wiske,Thirsk.The principal aim is to make the house and its contents available to the public,and the use of the building for local charitable fund raising events,and as a venue for the local village community.

Harrogate Phoenix Players promotes, maintains, improves and advances knowledge and understanding of The Performing Arts and in particular the arts of Drama, Mime, Dance, Song and Music.

Beck Isle Museum cares for around 60,000 objects which are used to catalogue and preserve the history of the local market town, with particular reference to Pickering and the wider Ryedale area. Focus is placed on education through the use of objects in displays, exhibitions and events, and the museum seeks to engage schools, groups and the local community through outreach programmes.

The provision and maintenance of a unique community facility which is Pickering Memorial Hall. This provides a dynamic focal point for all local charities, businesses and the people of Pickering, at minimal non profit making cost to users.

Collection and curation of historic artefacts relating to the parish of Fylingdales. Yorkshire and the maintenance of a museum open to the public to display and interpret a selection of such artefacts.

Childcare and education for children aged 18 Months to 5 Years.

Huby and Weeton Preschool offers preschool sessions Monday to Friday for children aged between 18 months and 5 years (term time only).The Preschool commenced operating through the company in May 2012, transferring the assets, staff and resources from the previous unincorporated association.

To assist the provision of educational, recreational and other charitable facilities not financed by the Local Education Authority

The objects of the CIO are(1) To promote the conservation of wildlife for the public benefit, by undertaking such activities that support the Eurasian Curlew and other wader species and their habitats in the South Lakes and elsewhere.(2) To advance education, for the public benefit, in the conservation of wildlife.

Teaching Scottish Country Dancing to adults and children through weekly classes;organising Day Schools and Weekend Schools to further this aim. Encouraging social contact, fun and fitness through dance with regular social dances with live music, and an annual outdoor Scottish Country Dance festival, the White Rose Festival.

Sporting facilities as well as buildings are made available as well as making grants available to organisations. Sports are football, cricket, bowls, squash, tennis, table tennis, Indoor facilities for elderly e.g. chair aerobics and for young people e.g. dance. Large play park.

Providing specialist 'all-terrain' mobility scooters to outdoor businesses and attractions to improve access to the countryside, for people with limited or restricted disability.
