To provide scouting activities for children from the ages of 4 to 18 years old from within the Acomb area. The Group runs an Explorer Unit, 2 Scout Troops, 2 Cub Packs, 2 Beaver Colonies, a Squirrel Drey plus a Scout Activity Centre at Redmire Station House.

The activities of the charity include supplying transport for hospital and other medical appointments, a befriending service, shopping trips, assisted shopping, weekly activity sessions, a meals on wheel service, a weekly get together for a hot meal, trips out and a weekly social gathering for those with dementia and their carers.

The H.W.Mawer Trust exists to preserve the Mawer collection of fine and decorative art and antiques,and for the display of the collection at Sion Hill Hall,Kirby Wiske,Thirsk.The principal aim is to make the house and its contents available to the public,and the use of the building for local charitable fund raising events,and as a venue for the local village community.

Friends of Harrogate Hospital, we are all volunteers, we have no paid staff or offices. We raise money to purchase equipment for Harrogate District Hospital to enhance the patient experience. Our area of operation is the same as HDFT

To operate a recreation ground and clubhouse for the purpose of providing a centre for the inhabitants of the Parish of Crayke. Activities include playgroups, meetings, lectures, classes and various sporting and leisure pursuits.

Harrogate Phoenix Players promotes, maintains, improves and advances knowledge and understanding of The Performing Arts and in particular the arts of Drama, Mime, Dance, Song and Music.

Classical music Orchestra, mainly amateur, providing concerts for the public and experience for enthusiastic players of any age. Engaging with local schools and children's musical organisations so as to bring music both to a wider audience and to children in particular.

We carry out our aims in the village of Keld in Swaledale, North Yorkshire. Our aims are realised by renting buildings in Keld owned by the URC and the Methodist Church. Our activities benefit residents and visiting public by restoring these buildings to new uses operated by the use of local staff and volunteers.

The purposes of the Church are the advancement of the Christian faith in accordance with the Basis of Faith primarily but not exclusively within Jennyfield, Harrogate and the surrounding neighborhood and such other charitable purposes as shall, in the opinion of the charity trustees, put into practice the Christian faith in accordance with the Basis of Faith.

To rescue and rehome stray, abused and unwanted English Springer Spaniels and to care for them until appropriate new homes are found.

Beck Isle Museum cares for around 60,000 objects which are used to catalogue and preserve the history of the local market town, with particular reference to Pickering and the wider Ryedale area. Focus is placed on education through the use of objects in displays, exhibitions and events, and the museum seeks to engage schools, groups and the local community through outreach programmes.

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time, occupation of individuals who have need to such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the objective of improving their conditions of life.

Provision and development of a village playing field for people of all ages. An extensive range of equipment is provided for children and young people together with a skatepark, a small football pitch and a bowling green.

The provision and maintenance of a unique community facility which is Pickering Memorial Hall. This provides a dynamic focal point for all local charities, businesses and the people of Pickering, at minimal non profit making cost to users.

TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF GREYHOUNDS, WHIPPETS AND LURCHERS BY PROVIDING NECESSARY CARE AND TEMPORARY SHELTER AND BY PLACING THEM IN SUITABLE HOMES.TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE CARE OF GREYHOUNDS WHIPPETS AND LURCHERS. WE DO LOTS OF MEET AND GREETS TO MAKE THE GENERAL PUBLIC AWARE OF WHAT WE DO.

We provide the facilities for the whole community. The village hall is available to anybody for hire. Individuals can book the hall for personal use ie weddings, parties etc. Weekly activities include senior citizens meetings, short mat bowls and badminton clubs. The local primary school use the hall for larger functions than the school can cater for, including their Christmas Play.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ISLAMIC RELIGION IN SCARBOROUGH BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR PRAYER AND RELIGIOUS SERVICES, PROVIDING ISLAMIC EDUCATION, PROVIDING OTHER SUCH SERVICES TO THE ISLAMIC COMMUNITY AS NEEDED. THE PROMOTION OF RELIGIOUS HARMONY IN SCARBOROUGH BY PROMOTING AND ENGAGING IN DIALOGUE BETWEEN THOSE OF ISLAMIC FAITH AND OTHER RELIGIONS AND ALSO DIALOGUE WITH THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.

The object of the Society shall be to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of choral and instrumental music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts; and for the general purposes of such charitable bodies or for such purposes as shall be exclusively charitable as the Committee may from time to time decide
