TO ENABLE PERSONS IN HARROGATE AND DISTRICT AND THE SURROUNDING AREA AS WELL AS ELSEWHERE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING FEELINGS OF DISTRESS OR DESPAIR, INCLUDING THOSE WHO MAY BE AT RISK OF SUICIDE, TO RECEIVE CONFIDENTIAL EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY OR NIGHT IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THEIR EMOTIONAL HEALTH AND TO REDUCE THE INCIDENCE OF SUICIDE.

The Principle object of the Charity is to provide a liberal and practical education by means of a school for boys in the Parish of Skipton in Craven. Within this object, the Charity holds various trust funds for the purpose of giving prizes and developing the school's facilities.

We aim, by developing an existing building [the former Grewelthorpe Methodist Chapel], to provide a village hall at which and from which a range of different kinds of educational, social and leisure activities can be operated for the benefit of all the inhabitants of Grewelthorpe and surrounding areas. The village hall and community centre will provide a focus for activities for people of all ages

The Village Hall Committee Charity provides a community service by maintaining the village hall for the use of local groups including elderly, youth groups, sports & health groups. Money raising events meet some of the costs of upkeep.

Our aim is to provide horse riding and carriage driving for children and adults with a range of disabilities. We operate in the Harrogate North Yorkshire and surrounding area

The charity provides appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for animals in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage and educates the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals.

To provide entertainment and education to the general public in the form af an agricultural show.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of York and the surrounding area by the provision of facilities for the playing of the amateur sport of outdoor bowls, and for recreation or other leisure time activities.

Assist in the provision of funding and services for the Richmond Methodist Primary School

We are responsible for the building known as Ennis Square Social Club, formally Royal British Legion Dormanstown Club. Which contains a War Memorial and also Merchant Navy Dedicated plagues. The Trust also have a Memorial stone at All Saints Church Dormanstown and a plague to Lancaster aircrew which are looked after annually. The Trust are to ensure the perpeturity of the building.

The charity provides a village hall for the inhabitants of Embsay with Eastby and the neighbourhood to use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The promotion and practice of the Christian faith by organising regular meetings for worship, teaching, community support, evangelism and prayer and by supporting other organisations who share similar aims. These objects will be carried out primarily in Bentham and surrounding areas.

To maintain for the benefit of the public in general and the communities of Richmondshire in North Yorkshire in particular a museum in Richmond, North Yorkshire, to acquire, hold, preserve, conserve, display and provide public access and reference to articles of literary, scientific, industrial, social or historic value.

To raise funds from members' subscriptions, from organising educational visits, functions and parties, in order to aid the development of the York Art Gallery Collection and to sponsor activities to further the appreciation of fine arts in York and its immediate surrounds.

The provision of a facility for recreation, education and leisure for all the people of Sheriff Hutton

The relief of sickness and the protection of good health by the provision of emergency pre-hospital health care to sick and injured people and by the promotion of pre-hospital care in the community of West Yorkshire and its surrounding areas. The advancement of education in pre-hospital care of doctors and other clinical staff by the provision of ongoing training for the benefit of the public.

TO PROMOTE THE STUDY AND PERFORMANCE OF CHAMBER,SYMPHONIC AND 20TH CENTURYORCHESTRAL AND CONCERTO MUSIC.

Main activity - to promote, maintain, improve and advance education by supporting, through making grants, such of the purposes of Scarborough Theatre Trust Ltd, in such a manner as the trustees think fit.

Providing seven social housing units in a rural area with no public transport or shop and which provides often low income employment.

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time, occupation of individuals who have need to such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the objective of improving their conditions of life.

The provision of affordable housing in Burneston, North Yorkshire for those in need. Also the provision of items. services and facilities for places of education that operate or provide services in our area.
