The Principle object of the Charity is to provide a liberal and practical education by means of a school for boys in the Parish of Skipton in Craven. Within this object, the Charity holds various trust funds for the purpose of giving prizes and developing the school's facilities.

A centre for religious studies and education of all kinds and for such other charitable objects as may from time to time be thought fit.

We aim, by developing an existing building [the former Grewelthorpe Methodist Chapel], to provide a village hall at which and from which a range of different kinds of educational, social and leisure activities can be operated for the benefit of all the inhabitants of Grewelthorpe and surrounding areas. The village hall and community centre will provide a focus for activities for people of all ages

To provide entertainment and education to the general public in the form af an agricultural show.

Assist in the provision of funding and services for the Richmond Methodist Primary School

We are responsible for the building known as Ennis Square Social Club, formally Royal British Legion Dormanstown Club. Which contains a War Memorial and also Merchant Navy Dedicated plagues. The Trust also have a Memorial stone at All Saints Church Dormanstown and a plague to Lancaster aircrew which are looked after annually. The Trust are to ensure the perpeturity of the building.

The charity provides a village hall for the inhabitants of Embsay with Eastby and the neighbourhood to use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Preparation of choral music for performance and to educate both the members and public in the art of choral music through the presentation of a series of concerts throughout the season.

The advancement of the health, of victims of child sexual exploitation and those at high risk of child sexual exploitation, who are up to the age of 25, by supporting them to access specialist services, which have a proven beneficial effect on health & well-being, and the advancement of education for the public benefit of young people who are Looked-after, or Care Leavers, up to the age of 25

The relief of sickness and the protection of good health by the provision of emergency pre-hospital health care to sick and injured people and by the promotion of pre-hospital care in the community of Yorkshire and its surrounding areas. The advancement of education in pre-hospital care of doctors and other clinical staff by the provision of ongoing training for the benefit of the public.

Ryedale Youth Theatre produces an annual musical show at Easter. Around 70 children from the Ryedale area age 8 - 18 perform for 6 performances and have voluntary professional tuition.

General charitable purposes

We provide musical tuition to people young and not so young free of charge both in the bandroom and in some local junior schools. We currently have around 100 instrumentalists associated with the band from raw beginners to accomplished senior band musicians. Volunteer tutors are not paid for this work. Our five musical ensembles provide a variety of musical performances throughout the year.

The CIO is responsible for running, maintaining, improving and developing Cracoe Village Hall, near Skipton in North Yorkshire for the benefit primarily of the inhabitants of Rylstone, Hetton-cum-Bordley, Cracoe, Flasby and Winterburn (all of which are small villages lying to the north of Skipton). The principal object is to improve the conditions of life for the inhabitants and their invitees.

The charity makes an annual payment to exseafarers -mainly in the north east of england-who are suffering economic hardship. Preference is given to ex employees of The Ropner Shipping Co Ltd. The charity will also consider applications from charities with related objects.

The provision and maintenance of the Memorial Hall for the use of residents of the parish of Kirkbymoorside and surrounding area.

the charity is a boxing/fitness club based in layerthorpe York. The club promotes health and well being through the use of boxing. All activities are based in the gym

Scout Group - We are provide weekly sessions and activities designed to promote the physical, intellectual, spiritual and social development of young people aged between 6 and 25 with special emphasis on outdoor activities.

The Trustees are directed to hold the Trust Fund and income there from to pay and apply the same to such charitable institutions or for such charitable purposes in such shares as the Trustees may in their uncontrolled discretion think fit.

WEEKLY MEETINGS,OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES SUCH AS CAMPING, CANOEING.TRAINING IN CITIZENSHIP AND LEADERSHIP.

Transport for disabled and elderly infirm people, provided by voluntary drivers.
