Village Hall available for hire. Contains snooker room, kitchen, hall and stage, all weather outside recreation court and fully equiped childrens play area.

The village hall operates 2 halls in the centre of the village & is used primarily for social, recreational & leisure purposes for village residents, ranging from the young (play school, youth club, parties) to the elderly (luncheons, whist, quiz's, yoga) etc. It is sometimes hired to host adjoining village/district functions.

The Friends of Romanby School is a charity that raises money for Romanby School, which is located near Northallerton in North Yorkshire. The money raised is used for the benefit of the children who attend the school. In recent years we have put money towards new outdoor play equipment, a new school sports kit, the school garden project and many more things.

THE CHARITY MAINTAINS THE BOOTH HALL MEMORIAL INSTITUTE WHICH IS OUR VILLAGE HALL. THIS PROVIDES A VENUE FOR EVERY KIND OF ACTIVITY THAT MIGHT NORMALLY TAKE PLACE IN A VILLAGE HALL. THE HALL IS USED ON A REGULAR BASIS BY VARIOUS ORGANISATIONS AND LOCAL GROUPS AND ON A CASUAL BASIS FOR SPECIAL EVENTS. PARTIES ETC.

Provision of community centre for local groups to use

Active in the community supporting the WI and providing facilities for various community activities including Pre-School, WI meetings, Dance classes, Yoga, Martial Arts, Crafting, Wine Talks, Scout Group and community events.

To provide affordable transport to those with disabilities, the elderly, local community groups and those in danger of becoming socially isolated.

Outddor and indoor group activities open to all young people from the ages of 6 to 14.

Donations to small causes predominantly in the Yorkshire area.

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH USERS AND REGULATORS, TO PROCURE AND MAINTAIN A PERMANENT WATER SUPPLY OF POTABLE WATER TO THE HOUSEHOLDS, FARMS AND OTHER COMMERCIAL PREMISES WITHIN THE PARISH OF STIRTON WITH THORLBY, SKIPTON BY THE MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT, CONSTRUCTION AND LAYING DOWN OF PUMPS, TANKS, DRAINS, CULVERTS, CHANNELS, FILTERS, BUILDINGS AND OTHER WORKS REQUIRED FOR ANY OF THE ABOVE PURPOSES.

Hiring of Village Hall for various community activities such as Dancing Class, Dog Club, Wine & Beer Circle, Parties, Church Activities. The Hall is usually hired by the local villagers and the people in the surrounding areas.

Organises events to raise money for St Martins School.Events include Summer and Winter Fairs, School Disco and sponsered events.

We have a residential facility in the forest area near Cropton in N. Yorkshire with self-catering accommodation for 26 people in a mixture of dormitories and double rooms. We allow groups of young people accompanied by responsible adults to book the facility for educational purposes and as such we are attached, but independent of, Driffield School in Driffield, East Yorkshire.

Friends of Coverham Church (FCC) helps to look after Holy Trinity Church in Coverham, Coverdale, North Yorkshire. Activities include maintenance of the church and churchyard, as well as organising events (concerts, plays, local history talks, etc) open to the general public.

Our passion is to help people less fortunate, youth and the elderly within our community and beyond. We are part of Lions Clubs International and operate around the villages to the East and South of York. Our activities include the organisation of a Summer Charity Concert, an Xmas party for the elderly, Santa's Sleigh, Xmastree recycling and running a Coconut Shy at village fetes plus many more..

Raygill Trust supports people and organisations living within, or based in, the Ecclesiatical Parish of Lothersdale by the provision of grants

Sporting, recreational and associated social activities for the people of Elvington and the surrounding area. This currently includes football, netball, cricket, tennis, yoga and dancing groups.

Village folk museum

We are a village hall that runs activity club,social evening,theater productions and over facilities for hire. We also have a sports field which is open to the public for recretional puposes and can also be hire for functions.
