Breathe Easy Darlington offers exercise classes and social activities to people within Darlington and surrounding areas who have a lung or respiratory condition.

The Trust was established to benefit charities or charitable purposes carried on or situated within the Ecclesiastical Parish of Lothersdale. Income is to be applied towards provision of any capital expenditure, extraordinary expenditure or extraordinary repairs incurred by any such charity or charitable purpose but not for the ordinary running expenses incurred by any beneficiary.

To provide recreational facilities for the village of Escrick

Grants for the religious and other charitable work of Quakers in Yorkshire and making grants for other charitable objects with an emphasis on religious charities, animal charities and charities for elderly people, children and disabled persons and for peace and reconciliation. It is the Trust's practice not make more than one grant to the same organisation within a period of 18 months

The hall is used for Indoor Bowls, Childrens Club, Whist Drives, private parties, dinners, discussion groups, Village Enhancement fundraising, Church eg Harvest Festival supper, also theatre group proffessional use it once a year. It is also hired out by various sporting clubs particularly in the summer eg cyclists.It has all facilities for the diabled.

Over 60's clubWe run a coffee morning 6 times a week at providence place, to meet and chat. We also do activities, such as bingo and days out, events with, music, singing and food. We donate to other local clubs.

To provide a safe venue for residents of Clapham & Newby for meetings, social and educational and other community activities.

TO PROVIDE BUILDING AND HELP FOR LOCAL COMMUNITY

Charity concentrates on nature conservation & renewal with particular emphasis on natural deciduous woodlands, and the rural craftspeople who work in the sector. Also contributes to research, as moth & insect surveys. Supports young farmers entering the sector with a farming with nature agenda on specific projects. Emphasis on North and East Yorkshire

The charity's objects are to provide or assist in the provision of activities for recreation, education and leisure time occupation for disabled people, with the purpose of furthering their abilities, experiences and quality of life.

Provision and maintenance of a Village Hall

The objective is to promote public appreciation of the arts and in particular to encourage public appreciation of and to educate people in the art of choral singing by the participation in and the presentation of concerts in support of local charities and similar activities.

We are a school for pupils with severe learning difficulties from 2-19. We provide a broad and balanced curriculum which meets the statutory requirements of the national curriculum.
