Village Hall

To raise money for the repair, upkeep, cleaning, preservation and conservation of the fabric of the ancient Church and Churchyard of All Saints, Bolton Percy, North Yorkshire, by donations with optional gift aid, gifts, functions, grants and any other means.

The objects are, for the public benefit:1 to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and the appreciation and enjoyment of music by any means the Trustees see fit, including the provision of rehearsal facilities, the presentation of public concerts and recitals and other musical activities2 to further such exclusively charitable purposes as the Trustees shall think fit.

We are based in Northallerton, North Yorkshire and our grant giving geography is Yorkshire with an emphasis on North Yorkshire.

TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH LEISURE TIME ACTIVITY

Scouting Activities, Camping, Outdoor pursuits, sports, education

The Friends Of Knavesmire Primary School raises money for the school by organising fun activities for the children and school community throughout the year. The money contributes toward the provision of opportunities and additional resources to enrich and enhance the learning experience of pupils.

Supporting the school in the provision of facilities and experiences in order to enhance the school children's education and learning.

To provide healthy recreational activities including the provision o facilities for the playing of cricket and football.

Rescue and re-homing of neglected or unwanted guinea pigs and cats

Provision of education and appreciation of music, drama and the performing arts.

To help with pupil visits, coach hire and entry to museums etc. and extending curriculum activities.

Management of Elvington Village Hall

The hall is used for Indoor Bowls, Childrens Club, Whist Drives, private parties, dinners, discussion groups, Village Enhancement fundraising, Church eg Harvest Festival supper, also theatre group proffessional use it once a year. It is also hired out by various sporting clubs particularly in the summer eg cyclists.It has all facilities for the diabled.

Inspiring and supporting practical actions within the parishes of the RC Diocese of Leeds by:- SHARING best practice through our website www.growingoldgracefully.org.uk- HELPING create local solutions to local needs - OFFERING information, support and advice to parishes- ENCOURAGING dementia-friendly parishes.

AREA OF BENEFIT: PICKERING AND DISTRICTOBJECTS: THE TRUST PROPERTY SHALL BE HELD UPON TRUST FOR THE PURPOSES OF A RECRETION GROUNDFOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF PICKERING AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AND IN PARTICULAR FOR USE FOR GAMES ATHLETICS, AND FOR OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME RECREATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS.

The charity operates a village hall for community purposes.

Fundraising activities to generate income with which to purchase materials, equipment and activities for Kettlewell School pupils.

We provide counselling and one to one or group support to people of all ages, who have issues around mental health, domestic violence, relationship problems, emotional and/or physical trauma. We offer a drop-in service that gives additional support to people between sessions. We work with all ages and specialise in working with young people who are or have lived in a domestic violence family.

Fundraising for causes related to Jessica Bethell with a particular focus on young people and donating to Meningitis Research.

The performance of choral music in churches, concert halls and other suitable venues for the benefit, education and entertainment of all people, and to raise funds for chosen charities.

SMALL FUND RAISING EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR FOR EXAMPLE MAGIC SHOWS FOR CHILDREN, BAGS TO SCHOOL IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE AIR AMBULANCE, JUMBLE SALES, CHRISTMAS RAFFLE, 100 CLUB, BEETLE DRIVES AND VARIOUS SOCIAL ACTIVIES FOR THE BARTON COMMUNITY ALL HELD IN BARTON VILLAGE, NORTH YORKSHIRE
