To enable the Village Hall to provide a community facility in the village of Tockwith, enabling user groups, clubs and societies to conduct a variety of activities. The charity manages and maintains the building on behalf of Tockwith with Wilstrop Parish Council.

DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF NEW COMMUNITY HALL.

The Charity provides the facility of a village hall for educational, recreational and leisure time use to improve the conditions of life for the residents of Gristhorpe and Lebberston. The Trustees have the premises maintained, hire the premises out and organise activities to take place within the premises.

The charity provides watersport opportunities for both its members and the wider community. It has a strong focus on supporting young people and works with local scout, school and youth groups to provide access to healthy watersport activities. Barriers to watersport participation are minimised by providing low cost equipment and facilities, whilst maintaining a sustainable financial base.

We host weekly rehearsals on Friday nights ,culminating in our annual Gilbert & Sullivan Show. We also host three Club Nights where we perform a G&S Production with the audience providing the chorus parts. We also have two pot pourri nights per annum where anybody can come along and perform whatever they want. We put together a concert, updated annually and performed as requested.

Family History

We are a PTA. Money has been raised during the year through various events such as a Summer Fair and Christmas Fair; cake, ice-cream and 2nd hand uniform sales; and Bag2school collections. This has allowed us to support the school and its pupils in various ways. In particular, this year we have paid for new playground markings.

Cliff Top Kennels Rehoming Centre is dedicated to finding homes for unwanted,abandoned and stray dogs in the Scarborough area. At Cliff Top Kennels Rehoming Centre a healthy dog is never put to sleep. We look after them and show them the care and attention they deserve until we can find a new suitable and loving home.

To relieve the financial burden on families in Yorkshire though the provision of gifts and entertainment at Christmas. Provide themed activities to encourage social inclusion of families from low income backgrounds.Provide "banana boxes" of toys to low income families moving from sheltered housing into accommodation

We raise money to support the pupils and staff, by organising various events in the village, such as a Christmas fayre, barbecue, sponsored run and selling school tea towels.The funds raised recently have bought items such as laptop computers, library books, and football goalposts

The Charity's objects are:To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and management of Dalby Forest and the surrounding forests and lands owned or managed by the Forestry Commission within the North York Moors National Park, to which the general public has access, in particular its natural history, ecology and wildlife.

To advance the Christian religion, to relieve poverty, to advance education and to further any other charitable purpose by making grants to Churches and in such other ways as the trustees think fit.

Our aim is to advance the education and well-being of the pupils in the school. Our main activities include supporting family and pupil well being with our pre-loved uniform shop and hardship fund. We also organise and facilitate both non-profit events and profit making events. Money raised directly funds education and well-being resources for the school.

Village Hall

Hiring of Village Hall for various community activities such as Dancing Class, Dog Club, Wine & Beer Circle, Parties, Church Activities. The Hall is usually hired by the local villagers and the people in the surrounding areas.

Village Hall available for hire. Contains snooker room, kitchen, hall and stage, all weather outside recreation court and fully equiped childrens play area.
