As a registered charity we help families with children with cardiac heart defects. we help families financially by helping them with their house hold bills, shopping ect. while their in hospital with their child/children, we also visit hospitals throughout the year bringing gifts to the children, parents and nurses.

Provision of a museum celebrating Great Ayton as the childhood home of Captain James Cook. The museum includes a schoolroom typical of the one that James Cook would attend for his education.

We currently run Coffee Mornings, family activities, guidance. information and parent to parent support.

Youth club activities provided for membership of youing adults (year 11 upwards) both male and female from the local community. The club attracts between 25-30 people per session. Our goal is to give young asults a place to belong whilst being in an interested and productive environment.

All activities over the year are organised as fund raising enents for the upkeep of the hall.

Esk Valley Lifeline raises money to fund the purchase of medical equipment in a number of different ways and by all sorts of means that include coffee mornings, darts martches, pool leagues, raffles, sponsored walks - to name just a few. In addition the Esk Valley Lifeline also receives money donated in memory of loved ones and from other organisations who have chosen to support us.

The participation of the community promoting healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of the village of Gargrave and surrounding areas in North Yorkshire in particular by the provision of facilities for playing football and cricket and any other such healthy recreational sports as the committee determine from time to time.

Our mission remains that of enabling children and young people to develop emotionally,physically ,socially and educationally by taking part in a range of activities at Carlton Outdoor Education Centre. In particular we are dedicated to helping children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The Chanticleer Singers are based in Malton, North Yorkshire, and give concerts mainly in the Ryedale region, but have also sung in Scotland and abroad in Ireland and France.

Cliffe Village Institute is a village hall facility and is a memorial to those from the parish who fought and died in both World Wars. It has modern facilities and is available for hire for private functions and regular activities for all ages. Income is from hire and fundraising events, with all money raised being used to finance the running and upkeep of the building.

Barnsley Brass is a traditional British brass band with a mining heritage based in Worsbrough Bridge near Barnsley. We operate predominantly in the Yorkshire area.We hold rehearsals twice a week, perform concerts and participate in competitions. All performances offer the general public the chance to advance their education in, and appreciation of, the art of music.
