Weekly club meetings both educational and social

We promote the advancement of arts education and appreciation and support the preservation of our artistic heritage. These aims are realised through the monthly lectures, study days and outings for our members and volunteer activities which include local conservation projects, Church Recording and Young Arts projects for local young people.

We offer a range of different social opportunities and activities in local venues, that allow our members to live well with and beyond their cancer diagnosis and treatment. We have monthly evening meetings, luncheon club and sewing group as well as weekly yoga class. We also celebrate every opportunity we get.

Friday lunch club for over sixties in Bentham area. Minibus with disabled access to and from the lunch club and regular outings.

Provides grants or financial assistance for educational purposes to those children in financial need and who live in the parishes of Well and Snape.

PROMOTION OF PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY PRESENTING PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS; PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO THE LARGEST SCHOOLS MUSIC OUTREACH PROGRAMME ORGANISED BY A MUSIC PROMOTING SOCIETY IN THE COUNTRY AND SPONSORING TALENTED YOUNG MUSICIANS FROM OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD.

Embsay School Parent Teacher Association exists to raise money to provide facilities, equipment and other support for the school

Church Fenton village hall provides a venue for social and recreational activities and for meetings of clubs and societies for the benefit of the residents of the parish of Church Fenton.

The Arts Society Helmsley promotes the Arts in its area of North Yorkshire by providing educational meetings with lecturers selected from a list approved by The National Association of Decorative and Fine Art Societies. It makes grants to encourage Young Arts and encourages study activities and supports preservation of artistic heritage.

Keeping the village hall in good order. Providing a meeting place for local people at a reasonable rental.

Running and upkeep of village playing fields, childrens play area and pavillion

A village hall which is used by the community for social activities, meetings and fetes.

To promote the welfare and benefit of all inhabitants of the village by providing educational,recreational and leisure facilities. To maintain a village hall and sportsground for these activities .

Our aim is to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of choral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by other such ways.

The objects of the Charity are 'to promote maintain improve and advance education particularly in the area of Literature and the written word and the formulation preparation and establishment of schemes to render such education accessible to the public.'

To provide healthy recreational activities including the provision o facilities for the playing of cricket and football.

We raise funds, and build community, for Haxby Road Primary Academy. We do this through organising and running 10-12 events per year, which are all held on site at the school.

Promotion of the art of choral singing through performances. Raising funds for charity.

2019 is the 50th Anniversary year of Harrogate Male Voice Choir.We give some 10-12 concerts during the year to raise funds for national and local charities such as the Royal British Legion, the Marie Curie Charity and the Clock Charity at Thirsk. This has also included combining with choirs from all parts of the UK performing at the Royal Albert Hall to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
