River catchment conservation measures for the Yorkshire Dales Rivers, namely the Wharfe, Nidd, Ure and Swale. The YDRT also supports and sponsors research and education to inform the public of the importance river habitat conservation for supporting biodiversity, for improving water quality and for oublic recreation and enjoyment.

TO PROVIDE, SUPPORT & ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF INDUSTRIAL TRAINING AND APPRENTICESHIPS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS EMPLOYED OR INTENDING TO BE EMPLOYED IN ROAD TRANSPORT ACTIVITIES. TO ATTEND CAREERS EVENTS IN THE AREA AND LOCAL SCHOOLS TO ACTIVELY PROMOTE SUCH TRAINING. TO SELECT AND RECRUIT SUITABLE PEOPLE TO FULFIL THE NEEDS OF EMPLOYERS IN THE LOCAL AND REGIONAL MOTOR VEHICLE INDUSTRY.

Management of the charity's property and investment portfolio in order to provide grant funding for educational and religious purposes.

PATT Foundation currently works to campaign for better environmental practices, take action against climate change, implement small to medium tree planting projects as well as set up tree nurseries, provide environmental education. The charity also supports veterans welfare via nature based therapy courses and engagement on nature based tasks to support post traumatic growth.

Ryedale Community Transport CIO provides a community based transport service for the residents of Ryedale, Scarborough & Whitby, District of Selby and the City of York, who are in need of such a service because of age, sickness, disability, poverty or because of lack of availability of adequate and safe public transport services.

Nell Bank provides unique outdoor learning day and residential experiences for children, their families and friends, from all walks of life. Over 20,000 children visit the centre each year & a significant proportion of them are from the most deprived areas of the district. Programmes are curriculum linked and bring children's learning to life, whilst developing a love & respect for the outdoors.

SELFA supports children and families experiencing vulnerabilities, to build resilience, thrive and achieve through wellbeing programmes; peer support groups; targeted holiday workshops; trips and residential breaks. Service users live or go to school in North Yorkshire and are referred by a professional working with them or their family.

York Area Quaker Meeting is a charity established for the advancement of religion and other charitable purposes such asderive from or bear witness to the principles and practices of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).

The Dashlight Foundation makes donations to charitable causes. Our primary interests are:- causes in Yorkshire- community and wellbeing in the UK- environment and conservation- global poverty relief - refugees.Applications should be sent by email and a maximum of 4 pages. North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust Charitable Fund is a separate charity working with the NHS in Stockton and Hartlepool. Donations are used to enhance those aspects of patient care and staff development which are not funded by the NHS. Charitable funds are used for a range of purposes, including additional medical equipment, training of staff and improvements to patient facilities.

1. Running craft workshops for people with disabilities (PWDs) to learn craft skills. 2. Training skilled volunteers to set up employment-generating craft workshops for PWDs facing poverty in the developing world. 3. Running a shop to sell products made by PWDs in our workshops in the developing world to provide them with an income.4. Running a cafe to provide day services & work experience.
