Heel & Toe Children's Charity provides therapy to children with Cerebral Palsy and other physical disabilities. Our highly experienced therapy service can provide assessments, block treatments or regular 1.1 sessions. Specific aims and outcomes will be discussed during assessment and goals set.

Provision of a community-based day service for people with learning disabilities.

Provide sporting and leisure activities/services to the general public.

To support over 6300 young people and 2200 adult volunteers in England's largest geographical county to learn vital skills for life through adventure and the great outdoors.

We currently provide social and leisure activities for people with a learning disability across daytime, evenings and weekends. Our services operate from our main centre or from other various locations and out in the community. Our services are available to a sector of the public with the protected characteristics of a learning disability. We also take groups out on trips in our minibus

Provision of homes for single occupation for the elderly at affordable rents

Cornerstone Supported Housing and Counselling is a homeless organisation and training centre. The charity provides emergency housing and semi-supported housing in County Durham. It runs a joinery workshop that builds a strong community resource where service users and the public can improve skills, employment prospects and self confidence while working towards a positive community relationship.

To advance religion by assisting in the support of York Minster by contributing both financially and in other appropriate ways to its preservation, maintenance, beautification and ministry. In particular:1. widen public awareness of York Minster2. sustain & develop a network of people who love & support the Minster3. maintain and develop the music4. aid the upkeep of the Archive & Library

To rescue and rehome unwanted and stray cats and kittens. As part of the change in legal status to a Charitable Incorporated Association (CIO), the charity took over all the operations, funds, assets and liabilities of Yorkshire Cat Rescue (registered charity number 1058218) on 1st April 2015. This charity had been operating since 1996.

Darlington Mind exists to assist people with mental health issues to realise their potential in life through support. advice, information, supported housing, rehabilitation, training, counselling, care, mentoring and personal development. A range of projects and initiatives assists over 1000 people pa across Darlington, South Durham, Hambleton and Richmondshire.

London Youth Rowing (LYR) is a ground breaking sports initiative - developing young people through physical activity and opening access to rowing at all levels. LYR is an inclusive programme for young people of all abilities, social, ethnic and economic backgrounds. LYR operates across the UK delivering innovative programmes, training and evaluation for schools, youth clubs and community groups.

The principal funding for the year was from property rental income

Yorkshire Dance champions the value of dance and its development in Yorkshire. We raise standards, increase understanding around dance and its impact and foster creativity and innovation. We support talent development, facilitate programmes of community dance for underrepresented groups which address critical issues in health, community cohesion and social isolation and provide sector leadership.

The charity is used to advance the education of pupils by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for the education of pupils at the school not normally provided by the local authority.
