Fundraising for Egton CE School

Weekly meeting where a range of activities are undertaken, including sports, arts & crafts and theme evenings (ie pancake making for Shrove Tuesday and fireworks for November 5th). During school holidays, weekly trips are made to a wide variety of locations, including wildlife parks, boat trips, museums and amusement parks.

Friends of Roman Aldborough (FORA) provide a series of lectures open to members and the public on Roman history and related topics and site visits linked to the talks. Members offer weekly guided tours of Roman Aldborough Town site, talks to local group meetings, work with Cambridge University on their digs in Aldborough and assist English Heritage who manage the Aldborough site.

Village hall

To promote the study and enjoyment of all wildlife and to disseminate the knowledge of natural history. Between October and March a fortnightly series of illustrated lectures is arranged Field meetings are held regularly in the Summer. Group recorders for the various orders collate and verify records. Annual reports are issued. The society manages a location for the benefit of wildlife

Various fund raising activities to help support learning and teaching, provide extra curricular activities and educational visits for pupils.

For the benefit and assistance of children in St Wilfrid's who are disadvantaged due to family circumstances enabling them to take part in trips, activities. We also reach out to those less foutunate in our own country and the wider world, i.e hospices, disasters abroad etc.

The Management Committee of Settle Community Library is responsible for staffing the library, organising activities and fundraising, in order to maintain the library's services to the public. It works in partnership with North Yorkshire Council.

The Trust pays the 10% of all building costs for Dacre Braithwaite C of E ( VA ) Primary School.

Uses the money left by the founders of Tadcaster Grammar School to assist the training of pupils of this school and to prepare them for future careers; also to give special benefits to the school of a kind not provided by the local authority.

We promote the preservation, restoration and improvement of the Valley Gardens, Harrogate, for the education and benefit of the public, by association with the local authority and local community in a common effort to provide facilities in the interest of the social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving lives of the inhabitants.

A Primary school in a relatively deprived urban area. The fund supports the children within the school by enabling a richer curriculum through educational visits and visitors in to school.

WE HAVE PROVIDED GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS TO ASSIST THEM WITH EXPENSES WHILE THEY TRAIN TOWARDS ORDINATION TO THE PRIESTHOOD

The Parish Council is the sole Trustee and uses the interest from the Chartiable Trust Account for projects that will benefit the residents of Hambleton Village. This could be maintenance work for example or funding for a village group project.
