Cherwell Canoe Club is a multi-disciplinary kayak and canoe club affiliated to Paddle UK providing opportunities to learn, teach, participate in, and enjoy, a range of recreational and competitive paddlesports including: whitewater, touring, sea kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, freestyle and canoe polo.

We aim to raise funds for distribution to selected charities and for other charitable projects. We select beneficiaries annually during the spring period but retain minor funds fur appeals received which are of an urgent nature. Our fund raising is conducted by holding social and sponsored events, and by taking part in local public activities.

Used by groups such as W.I., Senior Citizens' Club, Lunch Club, Parish Council, as well as for activities such as dance, karate, yoga and dog training classes, quizzes etc. Facility for social fundraising functions such as dances, fetes, film and quiz nights. Each week Greens Norton Scout Group give young people of Greens Norton and the surrounding area the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

The club is held on alternate weeks. It gives members an opportunity to play games and mix with others. The group takes part in a range of activities from bingo to arts & crafts. We have a snooker table, football table and music centre. So sometimes members boogie or just chat and join in the other activities. Drinks & snacks are provided.
