Organises an annual festival of performing arts including music, speech and drama for performers of all ages and abilities.

To provide sporting opportunities for the residents of Deanshanger and surrounding settlements by maintaining and promoting the use of the playing fields.. The promotion of healthy lifestyles by encouraging the use of the playing fields especially by the young in the village is a major aim of the organisation as is the development of the facilities including the sports pavilion.

The Society exists to preserve what is known of the village's past through documents, photographs, archaeological finds and artefacts from local industry and family life. The main activities are the operating and maintenance of Wollaston Museum, regular fund-raising events, educational and social events.

Buckby Feast Trust makes grants to good causes and other charities associated with the parish of Long Buckby. Funds are raised by the activities of the Long Buckby Feast committee during a week long series of events in the village.
