The charitable purposes of The U3A are to advance education and in particular the education of people not in full time gainful employment who are in their Third Age (being the period of time after the first age of childhood dependence and the second age of full time employment and/or parental responsibility) residing in Higham Ferrers, Rushden and its surrounding locality.

Rotary Club of Oundle conducts various fund raising events throughout the year and makes donations to individuals or other bodies as deemed appropriate by the club members.

Helping and educating Boys' Brigade members through their leisure time activities so to develop their physical mental and spiritual capabilities that they grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life be improved . This is achieved by the making of grants for the benefit of the members of The Boys' Brigade in Northamptonshire.

Providing a presence and creating a safe environment for the night time economy, around Northampton Town Centre. Providing a presence at and around the school community in the Eastern District of Northampton.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music in all its aspects by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public concerts and recitals.

The principal activity of the trust continues to be that of providing support to disadvantaged and the ethnic minority communities in the field of education, culture and social welfare.

To advance the education of young people (under 25) who live or are educated in the Barnwell, Hemington and Luddington;To provide or assist in the provision of facilities, in particular the Princess Alice Centre, for education, recreation, and other leisure time occupations of individuals living in the above parishes.

Management of Lois Weedon and Weston Village Hall providing facilities for a range of village organisations and activities including, but not limited to WI, drama club, flower club, film club, dance classes and other local organisations as well as private functions.

Village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the parish of Nassington in the county of Northamptonshire without distinction of political religious or other opinions including use for meetings lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Provides the hire of hall in the village of Yarwell. The hall has been recently been extended with improved insulation and and heating facilities added. It can accommodate 120 people.

HOLD EVENTS FOR VILLAGE COMMUNITY.

Support the Christian education of young people in the Parish. Support the maintenance of the fabric of the Parish church.

1. Information Advice and Guidance for the local BME communities.2. Advocacy support for the hardest to reach beneficiaries.3. Interpretation and Translation support both oral and written for the local BME communities.4. Supplementary Education for under-achieving children within these communities.5. Signposting and pastoral support with housing; education and other services.

Used for village activites including: Table tennis, Bowls, Garden Club, Pilates, Meetings. Available for hire for functions.

The purposes of Nene Valley Community Band (CIO) are:To advance, improve, develop, and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of music, in all its aspects, by any means the trustees see fit, including through the presentation of public events. We are a concert band that rehearse weekly and perform at various venues within Northamptonshire throughout the year.

Educational and social for the over fifties.

Volunteers meet on a monthly basis to maintain the nature reserve. This can include litter picking, pollarding, clearing swims, cutting into blackthorn bushes, grass cutting, general maintenance of woodwork, signage etc

Fundraising activities in order to purchase additional equipment/experiences for the pupils of Crick primary school.
