Our objects: To advance and encourage the education of the public in the geography, archaeology, environment, history and social and natural history and architecture of King's Cliffe and the neighbouring areas. Our activities include research, collection, cataloguing, display and publication of information to make it accessible to local schools, villagers and the general public.

KINGS SUTTON PLAYING FIELDS ASSOCIATION for the management of the ground and facilities at Kings Sutton Village Playing Fields to support the activities of Tennis, Cricket, Football clubs and village social activities.This is not to be confused with the Kings Sutton childrens park and recreation ground

The Trustees run the charities for the benefit of the village and the villagers.

Provision of a Village Hall

St Thomas More school has 218 pupils from reception to year 6. We raise money throughout the year by holding discos, summer and Christmas fayre, quiz night, sponsored walk.

We run a mobile Food-Bank to provide relief to those in short term crisis in Higham Ferrers and the surrounding towns.We also provide 'Higham Ferrers Free 4 All Music' to aid Mental Health and Wellbeing.We run a Befriending Service for the older adults in Higham Ferrers and the surrounding towns.We provide free phone and chat for older people to tackle loneliness and isolation.

Renting out charity land.

To Maintain the Hall in a good state of repair and improve facilities where possible by encouraging local communities and societies to hire the hall for functions and by holding fund raising events during the year.

To make donations for charitable purposes out of surplus income and investment gains realised and to use investment income to further increase the Charity's investment portfolio. To steadily increase its reserves so that the charity will be in a financial position to make large charitable donations without jeopardising its continued existence

To provide accommodation for the purpose of education,training and social activities for people of all ages and backgrounds and facilities as a general meeting hall for all village activities.The main activities being - Gardening Association, Social Clubs, Village History Association, private parties and general meeting hall for Whilton residents and their visitors

Providing community spaces for: - Art, leisure and recreational activities; - 'drop in 'resource centre for the newly arrived communities; - places of worship for various religious organisations.

The charity exists to raise money to support the school with their goals for the children and to provide extra opportunities for learning, socialisation and fun outside school hours.

The CDCT provides support to University students of Graphic Design (BA or MA), across the East Midlands {De Montfort University, Loughborough University, NottinghamTrent University, University of Derby, University of Lincoln, University of Northampton}.

Advancing the education of the pupils of Magdalen College School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities (not required to be provided by the local education authority) for education at the school.

Playing Field leased to Parish Council for recreational facilities for the village i.e Village Fetes, Car Boot Sales, School Sports, Fair etc. Book Grants for students of 18yrs or over in full time education in college or university.

Local community based choir making 2 concert performances per year and encouraging where possible the use of local young peopl and locally based soloists and musicians

As a Community Shed we provide a place in Northampton where local people, particularly older or partially-disabled people, can learn, teach, and pursue practical interests and skills, for themselves and others. Here people can engage in charitable practical work at a relaxed and leisurely pace, in a safe, friendly, and inclusive environment.
