Naseby Village Band are an amateur musical group who meet to practice and perform to the public

WE SUPPORT FINEDON MULSO COF E JUNIOR SCHOOL AND GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS UP TO THE AGE OF 19 YEARS

We have converted an 10-acre site into a public park, with a wildlife area, wildflower meadow, picnic area and play area. There is also a community orchard and allotment, and on-site parking. There is a wildlife area, and many individuals and families use the park for exercise and relaxation. We put on a number of activities, such as an Easter Egg Hunt and an Apples and Pears Day in the autumn.

Distributes cash at Christmas to person of pensionable age.

LETTING AND HIRING OF VILLAGE HALL

The U3A provides opportunites for its members to socialise, learn new skills, visit new places and enjoy recreation. We try to arrange interesting and stimulating speakers. We have over 20 groups organised by the members themselves on a range of subjects, for example, artistic, sporting, languages, gardening & historical.

As a local charity we provide short term relief from hardship amongst people in Kettering by offering free services on a non-profit basis through referrals by the local authorities or other local charities. This includes clothing, essential toiletries and household items for all ages.

We fundraise regularly to provide financial support to Greatworth School and additional opportunities for the children

To raise funds to support educational and recreational facilities provided to the pupils of Ashby Fields Primary School. Also fund raising for other worthy registered charities.

To bring together additional needs young people in and around Rutland in order for them to independently move around the local area unsupported by their parents, to encourage socialization and independence, to enjoy recreational activities such as going to the pub, having meals out, going to the cinema/theatre. bowling and having days out with their peers.

The Society runs a programme of talks, walks and other events relating to local history in general and to the history of Long Buckby in particular. It also carries out research on aspects of village history. The third area of activity is the collection of photographs, documents and artefacts relating to the village past and present and to this end it maintains a small museum for its collection.

WE ALSO WORK TO PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF AFRICAN MUSIC & ARTS IN THE UK THROUGH STAGE PERFOMANCES.

Encouraging members to take an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community.Charity helps Children and Young People, Elderly People, People with Disabilities and the general public/mankind.Raise money for Lions Brain Tumour Research.

Raising monies for charitable purposes

Hold monthly meetings addressed by speakers on wide variety of historical subjects. Publish annual journal 'Cake and Cock Horse' containing articles of local historical interest. Publish occasional research volumes on local historical subjects. Arrange summer outings to places of local historical interest.

Making music in ensemble, supporting local events and charities. Encouraging all to take part and impove their musicianship. Bringing music to the community. Enjoying music.

The charity will relieve the financial hardship in countries as Somalia, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda by providing Food and water, Education, Healthcare, angLivelihoods.
