Supporting development of girls through spiritual, physical, educational and service activities organised by Girl's Brigade Companies in Northamptonshire.

The Charity raises funds by means of fund raising events and annual Christmas street and door to door collections which are undertaken on its behalf by the members of Market Harborough Round Table. The funds are raised in Market Harborough and District and the Trustees invite applications for financial support from local individuals, charities and other not for profit organisations.

WTN provides listeners in Wellingborough, Rushden, Higham and surrounding villages with weekly local news and magazine on memory sticks. Qualification is inability to read ordinary news-type. Approx.120 Listeners. We also exchange magazine tapes with other TN's in our area (Npton-shire). We have recently changed from cassette tapes to memory sticks. Players are issued free of charge to members.

Provide a radio service to hospital patients and play requested music.

Social and fund-raising events. e.g. car-boot sales, quiz nights, plants sales, raffles at school concerts, meals out.

We raise money to create and then maintain the recreation area in Glapthorn Village, Northamptonshire. This includes a car park, a children's playground, adult gym equipment and a playing field. The funds raised by the charity go towards improving and maintaining these facilities.

The Trustees are committed to enabling as many people as possible to worship at our Church and become members of our Fellowship. The work of the Church includes public worship, Bible study,baptism of believers, evangelism, teaching, youth clubs and school assemblies, giving and supporting other Christian charities.

RECENT FUND RAISING HAS INCLUDED MUSICAL EVENTS, TALKS, A LECTURE OF LOCAL HISTORICAL / HERITAGE INTERESt, AN ART EXHIBITION AND A WW1 ARMISTICE CENTENARY EXHIBITION WHICH ATTRACTED DONATIONS.

Recording and distributing news from local newspapers and items of general interest to those who have a disability which prevents them from reading written text for themselves. This is mainly in Banbury and the surrounding Oxfordshire district, but we have listeners in Northants, Warwickshire and further afield where ex Banbury residents have requested.

THE CHARITY IS THE EFFECTIVE OWNER OF THE GRADE 2 LISTED 17TH CENTURY SCHOOL WITH THE TRUSTEES ACTIVE IN SAFEGUARDING IT FOR THE FUTURE OF THE VILLAGE BY MONITORING ANY PROPOSALS FOR ALTERATIONS TO THE BUILDING, AND BY MAKING OBSERVATIONS TO THE RELEVANT BODIES. WITH ONLY LIMITED FUNDS, THE CHARITY MAKES OCCASIONAL DONATIONS TO THE SCHOOL FOR SPECIFIC PROJECTS.

Ravensthorpe United Charities own several fields in the parish of Ravensthorpe. The rents of these fields is collected twice a year, and is paid out to the senior citizens of the parish at Christmas, a grant is also paid to students (who apply) for their first year at College.
