The Benevolent Fund supports the local football 'family' in times of need. The Fund offers grants to help players and sometimes their dependants, Referees, Officials, volunteers and administrators who are suffering financial hardship as a result of injury or illness - all of whom serve the game in Northamptonshire usually by means of affiliation, registration or membership.

The charity awards one scholarship per year for one year's post graduate study in Pianoforte.

INCOME IS USED FOR CHARITABLE WORK FOR THE GOOD OF THE VILLAGE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE TRUSTEES

We provide a small village hall as a meeting place for Thornby residents. The hall can be hired by residents or outside participants for recreational, education uses etc.

WACA is here to provide a community service. We currently have an elderly day care centre which runs four days each week. A Saturday school, womens group, and youth groups all running weekly. We also support social groups such as our dominoe team and pool teams also run an IT development for beginners.WACA also currently has 2 church groups running from the centre, weekly

Fundraising for Rowan Gate Primary School through: Raffles, Discos, Variety Evening, Pamper/Shopping Evenings, Fetes, online shopping commission. We operate across both sites of Rowan Gate Primary School which is a special school for ages 3-11.The money we raise pays for things needed by school as decided by the school's Senior Leadership Team.
