Thrapston Primary School PTFA strives to raise funds to enhance the learning experience of every child that attends its nursery and school. We provide the parents of the school with information and help to settle into the school and local community and work with the school to involve parents in their childs education. We host social events for the whole community to raise funds.

To aid and assist those living with dementia, those caring and supporting for those living with dementia to live as independently and well in the Corby area as possible. This will be achieved by a range of fundraising and educational activities.

Members meet 3 times weekly at the Weston Favell Community Hall for social gathering and activities such as card games, dancing, table tennis, health and safety and culture activities. The club also organise events like Chinese New Year, Mid-autumn Festival and Christmas celebration.Activities are open to people in Northampton who are interested in our activities.

Monthly meetings offering support and professional information/talks to Prostate Cancer sufferers and their partners, families and friends in Cambridge and East Anglia

Provide and maintain an open space known as "Desborough Millennium Green" for the benefit of the inhabitants of Desborough. The green to be used in perpetuity as an area for informal recreation, play or other leisure time occupations and as a meeting place for community events

To run an Annual Lecture in Northamptonshire for parents, carers, autistic people and professionals to advance learning in the condition.

The charity has continued in it's role to enable dedicated fund raising for the building fabric of St Mary's Wappenham. Funds held can be made available to the Church Council for repairs to the building. The only expenditure for the year 2024-5 have been bank fees.

We fundraise to give Children with cancer, life limiting illness and terminally ill gifts throughout the year.

Provision of grants for educational purposes to young people under the age of twenty-five who, or whose parents, reside in the parish of Eydon, Northamptonshire.

Providing grants to assist young people up to 25 years old in educational activities. Applicants or their parents must be resident in the parish of Holcot, Northamptonshire

For Maintaining the churchyard of All Saints, Sudborough, in particular the Dalby Graves. Secondly for church fabric.

The POOR'S ALLOTMENT charity is based in Croughton, South Northants.The charity is for the residents of Croughton who fall on hard times or village organisations which may require assistance.

The Charity holds about 90% of the land and buildings occupied by the Northampton High School for Girls.

The income derived from renting the Ashton Charity Fields is distributed to Ashton's pensioners at Christmas to help with heating bills.

Currently focusing on providing recreational and guidance services to young people in Northamptonshire via arts and crafts projects, seminars, workshops and interactions to promote happy and healthy functionality and expression mainly in young people and also minimize the lack of purpose or nothing to do which lead to mental health issues, lack of social and work skills, misbehavior and crime.

To make small grants to individuals or organisations which will help provide relief to those in need.

In line with school fund raising

The Charity gives money annually to individuals who meet the Charity's criteria.

Collect & display telecommunucation related artifacts & ephemera. Provide 'enquiry' service to the public.

We receive income from the John Lynn & Poor Lands Charities. We share this income amongst recipients domiciled with in the Parish of Southwick.

Religious activities

No activities other than giving money to organisations to allow children to participate in educational activities that have to be paid for ie school trips.

In accordance with the terms of the Trust , the available income is paid for the maintenance of church graveyard, as directed by the will. The Trustees are satisfied that these purposes remain charitable and for the public benefit.The Trustees have complied with the duty in Section 4 of the Charity Act 2006 to have due regard to public benefit guidance published by the Charity Commission
