Antibiotic Research UK is the world's first charity focused on tackling bacterial antibiotic resistance which kills 12,000 people each year in the UK. The charity's vision is to see a world free of drug-resistant infections. The charity operates throughout England & Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The charity relieves immediate financial distress when a member, who must be Serving in the RAF, dies from whatever cause, by making grants to their nominated beneficiary.
