We provide the Newbiggin Maritime Centre on the promenade in Newbiggin by the Sea in Northumberland. The Centre is based around the offshore lifeboat the Mary Joicey and the Northumbrian fishing coble the Girl Anne and now the restoration of the Rocket House in Newbiggin. The Centre is staffed by volunteers who will give you a warm welcome and make your visit as enjoyable as possible.

THE ORGANISATION IS INVOLVED IN EDUCATION, PUBLIC/CURRENT AFFAIRS, HEALTH AND WELLBEING, TRAINING OF ALL WOMEN IN THE COUNTY OF NORTHUMBERLAND.

The Income of the charity is derived from investments and the annual donations made by the charity cover a wide range of activities. Particular emphasis is given to charities operating in the South Tyne area of Northumberland.

The Charity is a Christian Church that provides Pastoral, Evangelistic and Christian Benovelent services. The church provides regular church services, mainly held on Sunday, wedges adn Friday. Due to the pandemic these times have been changed or conducted online through various video sharing platforms.

Educational meetings and support are provided for Parents/Carers and Professionals who care for children with specific learning difficulties (dyslexia) and related conditions. Information and guidance is offered to families and individuals, and Conferences and Workshops are arranged. Dyslexia Screening, Assessment, Tuition and Group Activities are available for adults and children with dyslexia.

Provision of housing accomodation for women who are in need hardship or distressand such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents or persons in need or general charitable purposes within the Parishes of Humshaugh and Simonburn as the Trustees decide

Village Foundations is currently working in Mwanyama Village, Nkhudzi Bay, Malawi. It is in the process of setting up a health post with a view to developing into a fully blown clinic for under 5's and their mothers. The Charity is currently offering support/services in pneumonia, HIV & Malaria Treatment, ante/post natal checks, family planning support and education & cervical cancer screening.

The objective is the advancement of religion for the public benefit by the award of grants to support research and theological reflection on social, economic and pastoral issues of relevance to the mission and ministry of churches of the North East of England and to the communication of the Christian gospel in the contemporary context of the UK.

The Club aims to provide or assist the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation, in particular facilities for playing football, of children and young people under the age of 21, with the object of improving their conditions of life, within a safe, disciplined and friendly environment for all members.

NCEL operates various initiatives and projects to better the lives of disadvantaged people living within Stobhill and throughout South East Northumberland. Our services are open to all age ranges and run from our Stobhill Link Community Hub. We offer volunteer opportunities and address local issues such as health and wellbeing, unemployment, skills building, horticulture and social inclusion.

The relief of illness and suffering of all disabled persons resident in a defined local area of Tynedale and beyond by providing, managing and maintaining a Centre for recreation or other leisure time occupation and in particular by providing facilities for competitive and non- competitive sports.

To provide a fun, child centred, affordable out of school care for children living in the Ovingham area.

To promote for the public benefit the efficiency and effectiveness of the voluntary sector in North Northumberland and the surrounding rural areas. Provision of office accommodation and networking services to the voluntary sector within the former Borough of Berwick-upon-Tweed.

Support & Advice for families with an Additional, & or neurological needs. Promote & advocate for inclusion in external activities and confidence to for growth and co production with all services.Reduce poverty in a multibank format for all & increase wellness & in life. support individuals with mental health and pre diagnosis in ASD conditions. Encourage volunteer & work opportunities for all

To create recreational educational and positive interventions for young people aged 11- 19 from the Newsham and New Delaval Area of Blyth.Currently, our work consists of delivering two center-based sessions focusing on the needs of Newsham young people.The charity also endeavours to work in partnership with organisations, to enhance and improve provision in the area

The study, investigation, description and preservation of antiquities and historical records in general and those of the historic counties of Northumberland and Durham and the historic City and County of Newcastle upon Tyne in particular.

(1) The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities for playing Real Tennis.public (2) To conserve, preserve and improve for the public benefit as buildings of historic interest the Real Tennis Court and house at Matthew Bank, Newcastle upon Tyne NE2 3RE and to educate the public about the history and heritage of the buildings.

Young and Sweet provide services to young people in Haltwhistle and the surrounding areas. Through informal learning young people will learn about and develop their emotional, physical and mental health. The young people will have the opportunity to be actively involved in their communities. Youth workers support young people to reach their goals through planning, support and encouragement.

FOR PARENTS/CARERS/SIBLINGS/FRIENDS, WE OFFER INFORMATION,SUPPORT,GUIDANCE,ADVICE,ADVOCACY, REPRESENTATION & WELLBEING. WE ARE INCLUDED IN THE BOROUGH'S SEND "LOCAL OFFER".

To promote and protect the health and welfare of people suffering from sarcoma cancer and their families through the provision of financial assistance, information, equipment and other practical support as the trustees may determine.

Cresswell Pele Tower was built by the Cresswell family in the 14th century. It is a Grade 11* Listed Building and Scheduled Monument. The Cresswell Pele Tower Project has set up a community and education focused project to investigate the Pele Tower and its environs and then conserve the tower and adjacent 18th century walled garden as a community resource for future generations.

The Trustees are responsible for the administration of non-public funds to provide benefit for all cadets in the Wing. Activities supported include Corps Sports (athletics, soccer, swimming, cross-country, rugby, netball and hockey), Leadership Courses, Nijmegen Marches, BTEC, Corps Music, Adventurous Training, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Competition Shooting (including Bisley) and Cadet Camps.

To disburse community funds received from Wandylaw Wind Farm within Ellingham Parish, Northumberland. Funding is used improve communications through broadband and transport. These are both aspects to do with preventing isolation and rural poverty. The other areas of very high priority from a local survey were sustainability with renewable energies and improving the thermal comfort of homes.

The aim of the Partnership is to improve the quality of life for those living, working and visiting the area (North Tyne and Redesdale valleys). The Partnership complements the non-statutory work of the Parish Councils, in it's ability to source and secure funding for projects. It also, where possible supports and encourages sustainable and economic development within the communities it serves.
