Ellen's Gift of Hope provides small grants to support families with children aged 0-18 years who have disabilities and/or life limiting conditions, and who live in Northumberland, Newcastle and North Tyneside. Grants are given for financial aid, therapies, respite and specialist equipment where there is an immediate need for relief of hardship, personal well-being or to address medical needs.

Providing a meeting place for all people in the area. Fund-raising to maintain the village hall to all required standards for public use.

Environmental projects.

Supporting activities and services for young people in the Prudhoe area. Includes opportunities to gain qualifications, participate in healthy lifestyles and give young people the platform to express themselves, promote and support well-being and good mental health.

_ To provide the only community venue within Ingram Parish_ To encourage as broad a spectrum of activities as possible to benefit both the local very rural community and outside user groups_ To develop partnership working with other interested parties eg.NNPA, Disadvantaged youth groups etc. to ensure optimum usage of premises in keeping with environmental objectives for the locality

The Craster Community Trust has a wide remit. It is responsible for the upkeep of the village Hall and the children's playground. Craster Memorial Hall provides all the facilities normally associated with such an institution. However the trustees also have the facility to carry out any other charitable activity they deem fit for the benefit of the residents of the parish of Craster and Dunstan.

The charity is a Spiritualist Church affiliated to the Spiritualists' National Union. Public services of worship are held twice per week and spiritualist healing is available for public benefit.

Annual agricultural show in rural Northumberland. The Upper Redesdale Show has baking and craft classes, sheep dog trials, sheep judging and general entertainment with children's sports and live entertainment.

For the public benefit, to advance the education of the public in and to promote their appreciation of the art and science of music in Berwick and the surrounding area by the presentation of public concerts and music recitals.The programme will include public lectures on musical themes, workshops and community concerts which will ensure inclusivity.

Holy Island Village Hall, AKA Crossman Hall. Building work completed, the premises are operating as a Community Hall providing for a range of activities for Islanders and visitors, such as education, fitness, art & music, entertainment & am dram and local celebrations and dancing etcetera., as a venue for village and church meetings, and other uses that befit our community.

SOCIAL Activities for our community

The society organises ten lectures each year on the decorative and fine arts. It has a church recorders group whose researches produce records of the fabric and contents of churches for presentation. Volunteers assist museums and other institutions with the cataloguing and maintenance of heritage property. The society makes grants to support arts projects in the community.

General fundraising activities including Christmas Fair, sponsored walk and school discos throughout the year.

THE CHARITY'S PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES IS TO PROVIDE A COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE SURROUNDING AREA WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS. THE CHARITY SEEKS TO ACHIEVE THIS THROUGH A RANGE OF SERVICES INCLUDING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, LEISURE AND SOCIAL WELFARE ACTIVITIES.

-Engaging in research projects in collaboration with professional archaeologists and other partners to develop a fuller understanding of the archaeology of the North Pennines;-Providing opportunities for members to increase their knowledge of archaeological methods and practices via education, research, fieldwork and training;-Raising awareness of the rich and diverse archaeological heritage

Community and village hall

1 youth club sessions p/wk, computer classes beginners class, Book, Video & CD exchange, bacon buttie morning, information & advice, short mat bowling, exercise classes, arts & craft, room hire, dancing, film nights, geneaolgy.

Funds as approved by the Trustees are used to support a PhD Student from the Institute of Cellular Medicine within the Newcastle University Medical School. The student is determined at the discretion of the Dean of Postgraduate Studies

Public performances of plays, as well as workshops and play readings. These activities are carried out in community spaces in Riding Mill. Play readings have been carried out online at times when covid restrictions applied.

Organisation of educational courses, day courses and excursions in Berwick-upon-Tweed and surrounding areas.

Makes cash and goods donations to local, national and international charities and other good causes.

The principal activity is to provide holidays for needy children from the North East of England who would not otherwise have the opportunity of such a break.

Education and advice. Advice given to the general public and to novice beekeepers. Education on honey bees and honey bee health provided to beekeepers.
