Raising funds for additional facilities/equipment/educational activities for the pupils of Stamfordham Primary School. The activities held throughout the year usually include: Christmas Fair, Easter Event, Summer Fair, children's disco, Campout, and monthly cake stalls as well as providing refreshments at some school functions.

The charity was formed for the purposes of providing financial and practical support to the Oriental Museum (which is part of the University of Durham) and to inform members about all aspects of the history, culture etc. of the Orient (through lectures, events, etc.).

We provide childcare and education to children aged 2 1/2 to 5 years old.

To arrange and provide for the holding of exibitions, shows, meetings, bingos, youth club, mother and toddler.

Fund raising activities & events to enhance the learning experiences of all children attending St Joseph's RC Middle School, Hexham.

Tyne Valley Canoe Club are local group providing access to Canoe and paddle sports in the Tyne Valley. We have regular sessions on the river Tyne based out of Prudhoe as well as regular trips to further afield.

Raise and distribute funds for ongoing restoration at Hexham Abbey

The provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use ofthe inhabitants of Carrshield, Northumberland and surrounding areas for: (a) meetings, lectures and classes, and(b) other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation and social events, with the object ofimproving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.

To sing a wide range of choral music to as wide an audience as possible. To encourage young singers and instrumentalists. To provide enjoyment to the choir members

To provide a venue for local groups and community to use for meetings, social events, training and private hire. to provide events for the local community.

Durham Anglican Cursillo is afiliated to British Anglican Cursillo Council (BACC) and operates the Cursillo method within the diocese of Durham and Newcastle. Established church members are invited to attend Cursillo weekends at which they are encouraged to grow in the christian faith through prayer and study and action. After the weekend, participants are encouraged to join a reunion group.

We operate throughout Northumberland, with drop in meetings at Alnwick, Morpeth, Ashington, and Hexham, and continue to expand the number of drop in services we offer. We have meetings where we offer support and guidance and members can chat with peers about the issues they face. Workshops on various topics affecting members. We organise events and trips. A listening service and signposting.

Rehearsing and performing choral music

Etal Village Hall is used for a wide range of community and business activities. Private parties, wedding receptions, funeral receptions, children's parties, yoga classes, basket making and art fairs, Parish council meetings, Etal show meetings are some of the recent activities. There is a film club "Flicks in the Sticks" The hall has full fibre broadband access & WiFi.

Our Village Hall is used by the neighbourhood to provide a warm, convenient and comfortable place for community activities.

MANAGEMENT OF PARISH HALL BUILDING AND LAND

Putting on choral concerts to entertain members of the public, sometimes raising income to fund the expenses of other concerts but also to support other charities.

Our activities during 2018 were:Arts n Craft Group; Monday Group; Bowling Group; Tap Dancers; Calmer Youth Group; Colliery Corner Group (parents and children); Halloween Events; Easter Parade; Christmas Party; BBQ Days; Disco for the youth; Face Painting; Dog Show; Coffee mornings; Lunch Club. We were supported in this by a grant from the People's Health Trust
